Dragonite vs Sazandra

VS

Well, Hydreigon's already been pit against all the other pseudo legendaries, so might as well complete the set.

Dragonite's the original pseudo and the original Dragon. Hydreigon is the latest pesudo and so far, the only one who prefers special attacks over physical ones.

Dragonite gets the same ability as Lugia thanks to Dream World, which means she takes less damage the more Hp she has. Add Roos (she doesn't need a TM for it) and you've got yourself a very durable Pokemon. On the other hand, Hydreigon has two immunities and no 4x weakness.

Dragonite's my choice, mostly because she and her family are one of my top five favorite all time Pokemon. Plus, she's the original, so yeah. Also, I haven't used Hydreigon yet, so I am a little biased currently. Still love the hydra's design though.

Dragonite is the best. Extreme Speed and Outrage make it a force to be reckoned with. It's average speed can be fixed with Agility, or one of the best stat up moves in the game, Dragon Dance. It's bulk allows it to survive a few hits, and with Roost and it's new Dreamworld ability it's defenses are the best among the Dragons.

i voted for Sazandra, just because i hate that Charizard knockoff so badly. btw, what ability does it get in the DW?

Edit, holy crap, Multiscale seems like a pretty beastly ability O_o

#1 Different types and different stats =/= knock off.

#2 It's called mutiscale. It makes it so when your at full HP you take less damage. And with Roost, Dragonite can keep healing up to full and take advantage of the boost.

Dragonite and Charizard have no relation to each other whatsoever and were probably invented separately. In fact, considering that GF has stated the Starters are the Pokemon they put the most thought into, there's a chance Dragonite was designed first.

Sazandra doesn't get a DW ability because no Pokemon with Levitate got one.

You know Dragonite's ability already so I won't bother explaining it.

I like Dragonite more but just by a little.

Its funny how I think Dragonite is ugly compared to its pre-evolutions while Sazandra's pre-evolutions are easily the 2 ugliest pokemon in existence.

Hydras > everything else. I may never use it, but because it is a Hydra, it is better than everything else.

I love how Dragonite and Tyranitar, easily the two least popular pseudos, are the ones beating Sazandra in the poll, whereas Salamence and Metagross, the most popular ones, are losing to him. It's pretty telling, if you ask me.

Did you just say Ttar wasn't popular? It's on every sandstorm team in existence, and is probably the best DDancer in OU. The only reason it's not the top OU is Scizor.

And now that I'm done with my competitive battler's rant, let's get back on topic.
