Why these? All 3 are the 8th Gym Leader of their respective regions.

Why not Giovanni? Being the leader of Team Rocket, he's on a league of his own.

Why not Blue? Being the rival, he too is on a league of his own.

Who is better?

Who would win a battle?

Who is more useful? (lolwut?)

I like Juan the most. He was also the toughest out the 3 for me.

As for who would win a battle, its like a rock paper scissors thing. Clair can beat Volkner as Dragons resist Electric Type attacks. Volkner can beat Juan with his Electric attacks and Juan can beat Clair with his Ice Beam users.

EDIT:Wallace is not here because he is on a league of his own. Technically, he's above the league.

Iris and Shaga? I'm not going to include Gen V characters in polls until I myself have played the games. Gen V Pokemon are a different matter.

Clair is my fav, but only because she's hot! XD

Juan was boring, really. His team was just a rework of Wallace's. Clair was okay, but I think I prefer Volkner the most.

I shudder every time I get to the 8th gym in SS because of Clair's Kingdra. She is my most hated gym, yet I have to respect her because of how annoying that Kingdra is. The other two gyms I have never had trouble with, Volkner I'll just roll through with a ground or grass type and Juan (who I've never fought) shouldn't be a problem with a decent electric or grass type.

I chose Clair cuz she's hot XD also, she´s a girl that boast her abilities and refuses the idea of having lost to a speechless boy/girl. I like Volkner too but, not as much as Clair.

Well, since I always ran through Diamond with a Garchomp, Volkner was super easy. He definately looks the coolest though. Clair was pretty easy as well since my Kingdra was stronger than hers :p Juan was tough because I never use a grass or electric type in RSE for some reason. I usually rely on my Gardevoir to Tbolt everyone.

Out of these, Clair definitely. She's not flamboyant or emo. She's Tsundere, so she automatically wins. Not to mention she's a girl, wears a tight blue jumpsuit, a cape, has sexy legs, and is kinda endearing despite her assumed maturity. She's far beyond the other two. Juan is alright, and Volkner usually annoys me with his inexplicable urge to mess shit up.

It's true her Team does suck and is boring, but such is the case for every other Johto Gym Leader, so blah. Juan has a cool Team (Not really a knock-off of Wallace's at all, it's fairly different), and so does Volkner in both Diamond/Pearl and Platinum.

Clair is more useful too. She has more use in those lonely nights.

So yeah. Clair for me. Like whoa.

I'm pretty sure some people would say the same thing about Volkner or Juan. :P

As for me, I'm picking Clair too. She's got freaking DRAGON types. Let's face it, that alone is a lot more badass than the more mundane Water and Electric types of the other two.

Also, in the origninal Gold and Silver, it took me four hours and I-lost-count-of-how-many attempts to defeat her. No Gym leader, with the exception of Whitney (again, in the original G/S) has ever given me that much trouble.

She's a BAMF too. Volkner's emo and Juan's whole raison d'etre is convoluted to say the least. Clair is cool, hot headed, and a freaking badass.

Also, Dragon types > Water/Electric types. It's probably one of the only two types that's more broken than Water (the other being Steel).

So yeah, huge Clair fan here. She wins this one hands down.

I thought Clair was the toughest with her Gyarados, 2 Dragonairs and buffed up Kingdra. Even with a Lapras and Dragonair on my team I had a tough time

I like all of them for different reasons, but if I had to choose... I would probably go with Volkner, just because I like the Pokémon on his team better.

Clair. She is a dragon type leader, and is not part of the E4. And she's hawt :B

Why wasn't Wallace included? He was better. He was clearly far more fabulous than these three.

Though if I have to chose I'd go with Claire.
