Charizard vs Infernape

Charizard versus the monkey. The monkey has better speed and mixed stats. Charizard has better bulk (thought that's not really saying much) and Sp. Attack stat. Overall, the monkey is more useful due to it's lack of a crippling Rock weakness, but Charizard does have a type advantage.

For once, I'm picking Charizard. I detest him with the white hot intensity of a thousand suns but even through that, I detest the monkey more. Infernape is by far my least favorite Pokemon of all time, so thanks to that, Charizard gets my vote here.

Probably Kung-fu monkey.

Charizard is my favorite starter, so it easily gets my vote. Infernape is still a badass though, it's my third favorite starter. That might change when I get White in spring, but I doubt it.

I like the monkey better :P

The Monkey is more useful.

Charizard is horribly overrated but its quite decent and gets my vote.

I like Infernape better, and he is more useful in the metagame!

Charizard has a better design, and is a fair sweeper.

I hate to say it, but the monkey's more useful, and can KO Charizard with Stone Edge before it has a chance to react.

That said, I'll take the overrated dragon pretender over the overrated monkey any day.

Charizard might get raped by SR, but he's still the original fire dragon flying of Pokemon.

I hate them both. But I hate the monkey more.

The dragon. The monkey is overused, and the dragon is epic.

Infernape is my favorite fire type starter, and one of my favorite starters overall. Charizard is ok, but Infernape is golden in my book.

Basing it soley on their final evolutions and excluding the four lesser forms; I'd have to say Charizard is my prefence.

Although I've an Adamant Chimchar with Fire Punch, ThunderPunch, Brick Break and Shadow Claw just waiting to destroy anything Sinnoh throws at is when it becomes an Infernape.

Charizrd would win as he has the Type advantage he learns Wing-Attack naturally while Infernape needs a TM to use SR and SE (And SR isn't a TM anymore) ina battle no TM's Charizard gets the WIn plus I don't really care for Infernape (DOn't care for monkey's)
