Regardless, Flash Fire Shandera walls Choice Specs Charizard and forces to switch it while the awesome chandelier has one turn to set-up. And to add something else, 252 HP/252 Sp. Defense Calm Burungeru has some chances to be switched in, survive two Modest, Sunny Day-Solar Power-Specs Fire Blasts (though you can always predict and use Solar Beam instead) from Charizard and Recover off the damage; if it got Cursed Body instead of Water Absorb, it has a 60% chance of disable Fire Blast from the two turns and force Charizard to switch or struggle while it quietly uses Recover. With a Timid nature, Charizard has even a harder time dealing with Burungeru.

I trust who I know and whenever I'm in trouble I know my charizard will be there for me... I think she likes me for more then just her trainer... I spoil her.

Guys, rapid spin is an invredibly common move, and it makes charizard that much better. Added with the fact stealh rocks much less common this time around, i do beleive charizard can regain his former glor of OU/BL (most likley BL) or UU. And who cares about the heavy recoil? Not only is there roost, but its not like charizard is supposed to be used as a wall, capible of taking hits, anyways. And really? Solar Power is a great ability, its just hasent been to viable (till now) since the only pokemon with it were sunflora and tropious. Charizard, in the sun with a netrul nature and a life orb can 2hko the games best wall (Arguably) Lugia, with a NVE hit. You can't say thats not impressive.

Lugia is Psychic/Flying, not Water/Flying. Fire Blast is a neutral attack against it.

Charizard even thought it can die very fast thank you ever much fucking pain in the ass damn cocky ass stelth rock who fucked one of the most epic pokemon of all time.

and enbuoo is just shit in all most every way but it looks because it looks alot like gannon.

Rapid Spin is not as common as you think (only 17 fully evolved Pokémon can know it, some of them pretty lame in competitive terms) and Stealth Rock is still very widespread, giving that many Pokémon from previous games that use it didn't gain anything good or better from the Dream World and thus can be PokéShifted instead of bred or caught in BW (Metagross, Azelf and Swampert are examples). Besides, 13 Pokémon (some of them the same ones that already made good use of it in Generation IV) in BW can inherit the move via breeding so it will continue to see play, at least in Singles. Add to the mix that Burungeru and Deathkan are some of the new walls and you'll have even less chances to remove entry hazards successfully.

And you must be joking about using Roost on a Solar Power Charizard: it isn't anymore a TM, Charizard doesn't learn it by level up and is not an egg move for Charmander.

i love Charizard, he was my 1st pick for a starter, sadly i started with Gold back in the day so i went with Totodile. But he rocked in FR.

and i only like the Boar when he's shiny, where 'zard still looks badass.
(not to mention charmander's become something of my pokesona x3)

charizard rules. Just what kind of stupid pick an emboar or whatever it is called. Emboar fat, ugly, rip off rip off, and had what the hell, and the design looked awful... Even my lil bro could design something like that.. And yeah, no offense for the emboar fans... and charizard can learn fly... That what makes him amazing I think emboar is the worst starter ever. I mean look at thyplosion, blaziken, infernape, charizard.. They're all cool, but when emboar came, it ruined the coolness of fire starter

Please, people, decide your own opinions. Don't hate Charizard just because it's overrated/everyone loves it.

If I don't like Charizard just because I find it a overrated Pokémon, it's still my opinion so is as valid as any other. Moreover, I have more reasons to despise Charizard aside from the last one.

Charizard: NU
Typhlosion: NU
Blaziken: UU
Infernape: OU

I'll go for Enboo, Charizard has the looks, and thats about it. Plus TTE Echidna's atavar made Enboo kinda awesome. Think about it, everyone said Pokabu was gonna evolve into Gannon.

Plus Enboo, even though it's an obvious Rhypherior rip-off, it's a Rhypherior rip-off, and looks awesome. (That DOESN'T mean The Tauros-with-an-afro is good, I love Tauros, but not that idiot.)
