Thread: Charizard vs. Articuno

I evened it out by voting Articuno xD
Definitely Articuno. Pokemon the Movie 2000 holds a special place in my heart. The legendary birds were epic.

Not fair to pin these these two against each other at all :(. I love them both, but I have to go with Articuno for it's elegant appearance and colour compared to Charizard. That would be the only reason.

Charizard does have a better move pool and a type advantage over Articuno, but I still cannot ignore my favourite legendary bird.

I think Charizard is a little overrated, but I still voted for it. It's easier to get attached to the fully-evolved form of your starter Pokemon than a legendary caught near or after the end. Charizard learns many great attacks, making it a ton of fun to use. It's a shame it gets ripped apart by Stealth Rock, but then so does Articuno.

articuno is my second favorite pokemon and i think it's more useful than charizard, and it also has better stats overall. Plus it's a legendaey pokemon, and it's one of the best pokemon design-wise. Anime battle between these two was incredibly stupid, especially the end of it.
