Thread: Bug/Steel Battle - Who Will Rule Them All?

Scizor, due to design and Bullet Punch.

Scizor for me.

Scizor is the best. It has an awesome attack stat and Bullet Punch and Technician are great.

I picked only Forretress, Shubarugo, Wormadam and Genosect.

Forretress is a defensive Pokemon, and I like defensive Pokemon. Shubarugo is quite powerful and very sturdy, and has a very interesting evolution method, which is always a plus, plus that jousting motif and knight in shining armour is a very nice touch. Wormadam looks really funny in trash, and Genosect is quite a powerful predator and has the ability to shoot lasers, which is no doubt something new for a Pokemon (beams don't count).

I could choose Aianto, but I didn't feel it, and to the Scizor fans, I apologise for not picking him/her, because I also don't feel the magic. Sure, powerful is one thing, but I am not interested in the power that you all are captivated at.

Battle Prowess: Genosect. A pure offensive force, plus it could decimate the other Bug/Steels because of their mediocre (for the most part) special defenses.
Looks: Scizor, Forretress, and Genosect. Ainto's kinda bland. Shubarugo doesn't look particularly great. Wormadam just plain sucks.
Just 'cause: Genosect, for being the first Bug-type Legendary. Scizor and Forretress still have my love, however.

Should I really say? Everyone knows I will pick Genesect. That's how the REAL spelling is, btw.

Currently Scizor, by both battle prowess and design. Can't really evaluate the new guys until I use them, but I like Aianto for some reason.

Scizor: I'm sure I'll get one sooner or later for battling. Extremely useful in battles - I have only seen it in action. Can't wait to use it for real.
Genesect: It's a bug. With cannon(s). What's not to like?

Shubarugo looks likte it would be most powerful.

It has to be Shubarugo. It's a bug cavalier thing. That's fairly awesome.

Genesect isn't bad, either. It just has a pretty blah design, but the idea behind it is pretty cool.

Scizor is great, but evolving from Scyther removes some cool points from it.

I don't think too much of the others. Wormadam is kinda cute, but I only like Grass Cloak Wormadam, though Junk Cloak is pink, which I like.

I got infracted for a response like that. 8D; I have no choice but to choose, huh? That's no problem.

Even with my current crusade against Tohjo, I still think Scizor is the coolest-looking Pokemon of ALL TIME. Out of all the steel bugs, Scizor is truly the best in power, and design.

Chevargot (I believe that's the likely romanization, which sounds rather neat!) is probably my favorite, mainly because I enjoy the unique evolution method of it and Agilder, and the fact its dry-hump animation makes me laugh.

Forretress probably comes in second, since I've always enjoyed its abstract appearance and relative modesty. I feel Scizor is too over showcased sometimes (it's in the show all the time!), and thus I have a sort of soft spot for the underdog of Gen II Steel/Bug Pokemon.

Games: Scizor because of bullet punch
Anime: Genesect because of the cannon
