Thread: Blade battle! Gallade vs Bisharp

Bisharp. He is better at battling and I have used one in Ubers to decent effect. I also like its design.

I can't decide, both have great designs and are decent in battle. Gallade's movepool is both its blessing and a curse, and Bisharp has access to Rock Polish to fix his speed, but he has a 4x weakness to Fighting.

I voted about Power not Idiotical design(Sorry if i offended someone)
Since Gallade has a huge type advantage and Bisarp doesnt have counter to Gallade
Gallade wins

Gallade gets my vote. I like his design, stats, typing and movepool more than Bisharp's. Also, Gallade's ability can be useful since it will raise his speed if he flinches. He can also take down all his weaknesses with a super effective and strong physical move. I don't really like Bisharp's design because it doesn't appeal me and it looks unattractive. Bisharp also doesn't seem to be as strong as Gallade. In a battle, Gallade is likely to take down Bisharp with one Close Combat since he has high attack and is faster than Bisharp.

Gallade's STAB Fighting typed attacks would usually destroy Bisharp. His hidden ability would also raise Attack if hit by Bisharp's Dark type moves.

Bisharp is probably better generally though both are terrible. Bisharp also looks very cool and I like him in the anime so he wins.

I chose Gallade due to personal preference. That being said, I like Bisharp as well; so it is a somewhat tough choice. I like the designs of both, and don't honestly care which one would win in a battle.
