Battle Of The Bugs!! Beedrill vs. Butterfree vs. Dustox vs. Beautifly vs. Ariados vs. Vespiqueen vs. Galvantula vs. Durant vs. Volcarona! Who is the strongest? Who is the favorite? Who has the best design? Who would win in battle?

I voted Galvantula because I have personal experience with it, and it just all around rocks.

Hey, please do not create threads offering an "Other" option, as the contests are meant to pit certain Pokémon and that option would make this thread a chaos and would go beyond the Contest Hall's objective.

I like flying/bug type though, they are always so pretty so I voted Beautifly.

Who is the favorite? Volcarona most likely. Others are ok too.
Who has the best design? Volcarona by far. Way too many bug and steels now.

Oh, I prefer Durant out of all those. I've used a Hustle + Hone Claws set both competitivly and in game to great sucess. The fact that it can learn Stone Edge to punish Fire types (like it's rival Heatmor!) and other bugs is just the icing on the cake, as it just proves that types don't always matter.

Volcarona's pretty good if you ignore the crippling Stealth Rock weakness and Tinted Lens Yanmega helped me lots in Gen IV. I'd say they're a tied close second.

Who is the strongest shouldn't even be a question, lol. Volcarona can single handedly destroy all of them one after the other, with or without a qd boost.

That said, for design reasons I chose both Galavantula and Volcarona.

Volcarona, hands down. It's part fire so it rips through the rest battle wise. It is also the best design and is my favourite of these. The only thing that holds it down is losing half it's health to Stealth Rock.

I voted for Durant. It's not my favorite design-wise, but it packs surprising power in a small package. Hustle + Hone Claws + amazing speed is a great combination.
