Thread: Battle of the Amphibians: Poliwrath vs Politoed vs Seismitoad

Well, I figured that I would get all the frogs I could find and pit them against eachother. Kanto has one frog, as far as I know,
Poliwrath. Of course, Johto brought in Politoed. Also, there's a new frog thing in town, Seismitoad. A few things that these things have in common is that they are all related to frogs(Poliwrath is a tadpole thing). Anyways, whose design do you like better, who has the best typing, who would win in a fight and who is more useful?

Shouldn't Toxicroak be on this list, too...?

Anyway, I pick Gamageroge. The thing is badass (Ever seen its artwork?) and has access to Muddy Water. Anything that can learn Muddy Water is automatically awesome.

Nah, don't add Toxicroak or it'll be exactly the same as that other thread.

Anyway, I'm going for Gamageroge. I find that out of the four toads that it's design is more ... flowing? I dunno. Plus, it's pretty cool guy, and it's whole evolution line (especially the art) is so hilariously derp. Plus, Water/Ground is a great typing (even though Water/Fight's cool too, I don't particularly like Poliwrath's design. Could've been cool, but they didn't take the risk and left it so similar to Poliwhirl).

Poliwrath I like it's typing. However, I don't like Poliwrath I only chose Poliwrath because I have a level 92 Poliwhirl in Pokémon Blue and it pwns every Pokémon, including the Elite Four. Personally Poliwhirl OWNS Poliwrath IMO. I have a few other reasons too(which can't be bothered writing down).

When I first saw Gamageroge's first evolution I thought... that is the most weirdest tadpole I've seen. (No offense to anyone who does like it) It's just my opinion. I when I saw Gamageroge's name I read it as Gamageorge LOL.

Poliwhirl is better than its evos if you manage to get a Hypnosis + Belly Drum combo off and then sweep. Also, it can learn Psychic. >:D

Poliwrath wins because I like Dynamic Punch.

Well my Poliwhirl has the following attacks
Metronome, Amnesia, Surf and Hydro Pump. I hardly use Metronome.. mind you I did kind give Poliwhirl steroids like calcium and stuff and in the elite four when I vs Lorelei's Dewgong I use amnesia 3 times then surf and it defeats Dewgong like horn drill. Koe'd

Poliwrath. Looks great, and is a frog. Its also one of my favorite water types.

Gamegeorge could defiently win a battle, and don't even get me STARTED on the design, it's just a great Pokemon

Gamageroge wins this for me. 'Wrath is way too similar to 'whirl for me to even begin caring about it, and 'toed is a bit too...well...colourful, lets put it that way.
George isn't the type you'd want to hug and squeeze forever, but he does look seriously cool, warts n' all.
