Thread: Banette VS Mismagius

Yep, you knew I had to make this one. Mismagius has to be one of the only ghost types that is used in competetive play. Banette, on the other hand never was and never will be. But, that's not what matters now does it?


Who has a better design?

Who is more useful?

Who would win?

Who do you prefer as a pokemon?

Honestly for this one I'm gonna say that Banette wins in all of these categories except, maybe, usefulness. Also in a battle Banette can throw a SUCKERPUNCH. Boom insta-kill, and since everyone listens to smogon, no one EVER gives mismagius a focus sash. There ya go that's game.

Now what do you other posters out there think?

Mismagius would destroy Banette, so Mismagius for me.

I don't wanna influence anyone here but uhhh. Banette Cough, Suckerpunch, Cough.

Mismagius. It's design is much cooler, and Banette just freaks me out.

I feel as if people are ignoring me....

I love both desings, in usefulness, yes Mismagius is better but Banette looks scarier. Sadly, Banette lacks speed or defense to survive so, Mismagius :B

Mismagius has a better design, as well as better stats.

Mismagius is not the only Ghost used in competitive play. There's Gengar, the Rotom Formes (before they lost their ghostliness), Goruugu, Shandera, Spiritomb, Sableye, Dusclops, Froslass, even Giratina in Ubers.

Also, Mismagius wins. Substitute > Sucker Punch.

Mismagius has a better movepool, stats and design. Bannette is outclassed in every way

Nahh It's ok. I guess I'll just have to beat mismagius with my Banette in secrecy so as not to upset you guys.

Has to be Mismagius. Banette's cool and all, but Mismagius is just superior in every possible way, plus it made Misdreavus into something that actually had some value competitively.

Mismagius. Banette's too weak in my opinion. And I like Mismagius.

Mismagius, I freaking love it. And Banette freaks me out.

The ghost type.

Mismagius is pretty cool, although I like Misdreavus better (it's like the only pokemon I like more than it's evolution), but Mismagius is still better than Banette. Better stats and move pool and such.
