Thread: Audino VS Chansey (now with a poll)

VS

Battle of the counterparts, they both assist to Nurse Joys in the Pokémon Centers and they're both capable of healing the other Pokémon. And most importantly ... they're both pink.

Which one is it?

Well I personally picked Audino. Why? It gives me a lot of EXP in the BW games while Chansey is a nasty bitch in competitive play.

I voted for Tabunne since I'm using it in my White party.

Audino is more common than Chansey and gives tons of exp. Thus Audino wins, plus it looks more adorable. :D

Audino, because I prefer its design (its eyes look cuter), and because I have one in my team, so it necessarily grew on me. :)

I prefer Audino. Even back in the day, I thought Chansey was a pretty lame pokemon. It wasn't all that interesting, and it always felt kind of derivitive of Clefairy and Jigglypuff imo.

I prefer Audino's gimmick and find it more appealing aesthetically. It's also not a total bitch to find or catch, and the amount of exp it provides is extremely useful. Also, it's name in both japanese and english makes for an amusing pun.

Chansey, obviously.
Not only do I not like Audino, but Chansey was in the anime for a lot longer than Audino, and it just seems like Audino is a straight replacement.

Honestly, I prefer Audino. Better design and more useful.

Chansey is a very helpful and useful Pokémon (Softboiled, Lucky Egg, exp, etc), and I prefer its design to Audino's.

While Chansey is more useful and better designed than Audino, it was obnoxiously hard to catch in Gen I. That's enough to put me off Chansey for life, so Audino it is.

Audino. I just really like it's design... but I can't place why.

I'm just not fond of single stage Pokemon, and I love the way Chansey is based on the concept of motherhood. Also, I love Happini and Blissey.
I think its sorta stupid how Audino is there just to replace Chansey, too.

Chansey; mostly because of the first gen pokemon card.
