Thread: Ash Vs. Ethan

We've already seen Ash and Red, but how does Ash pair up against Red's less-celebrated successor?

I'm personally gonna have to go with Ethan on this one. I really don't care about him that much, but Ash is still pretty damn derpy.

Ethan can actually make Team Rocket stay down. That's a win in my book.

Ethan kicks Red's ass on the top of mount Silver. That says something.

Ash, because in my mind Lyra's the badass who kicks Red's butt. Ethan's just a figment of all your imaginations. Also, because I like the anime and because Ash is badass in his own right. He's the sole owner of Godchu, after all.

Ash is a screen hog. End of story. (E-Than!)

Ash. Don't much care for HGSS!Ethan, although back in GSC when he was known as Gold, he was cool. And I love his anime incarnation (JIMMY <3) But I guess Ash.

Ethan. He did half the things Ash could not accomplish, like beating a league.

Ash, mainly because he's so awesome. He could pwn Ethan any day.

Ethan is a successful trainer, in ways that Ash lacks.

Ethan looks surprisingly older than he looks. Also, since he's a game character, he's bound to be successful, but that's not the reason I picked him; I chose him because his choice of attire is simple, and I like the choice of colours too.

Lyra is the one who's imaginary, Kris was totally the one who beat Red.

I voted Ethan, even though he looks like a noob compared to Gold (they're different, one looks like a badass one looks like a moron wearing capris).

Ethan. He's just ... better. More skillful.

I'm more familiar with Ash, so him. I never liked Ethan's design.
