Thread: Aggron vs Tyranitar

Well Actually, Tyranitar would pick up an easy win over Aggron. Well its not because of the typings, the looks, its about the stats.
1st of all, Tyranitar is a pseudo-legendary Pokemon that has a total stats of 600 compared to Aggron with 530.
Well yeah its because of defense that Aggron is a freight-train and so Tyranitar is, but speed is what makes Tyranitar a colossus and a monster.
How about you try to a lvl 100 Tyranitar against a lvl 100 Aggron.Tyranitar has the speed everytime so T-Tar will OH-KO Aggron with earthquake. Tyranitar can always outmatched and overpowered Aggron, no doubt. Tyranitar is a pseudo-legendary, plus has better stats than aggron.

.. oh yeah I forgot, T-Tar can also OH-KO Aggron with a fighting type move because a almost fighting type moves are physical and T-Tar has a monstrous attack stats that can make a physical attack very strong.

Well I go with Tyranitar, due to his battle superiority over Aggron.

This is basically what my view in this VS thread is all about.

Aggron, I like steel types a lot.

T-tar is faster (which is saying something considering how slow it is) and equakes aggron into next week. If that doesn't work T-tar has loads of other moves including ones that hammer aggron's low spec def like earth power or surf.

Tyranitar. Better stats, design, typing (compared to Aggron), and more useful movepool.

Tyranitar wins easy. Good Special Attacks, Access to Focus Punch, Earthquake, and Substitute, better defenses, and a better design.

I prefer Aggron, because of his movepool and design.

Tyranitar is awesomer in design

I personally love them both, and have a Lv. 82 Aggron and a Lv. 100 Tyranitar. However, Aggron has 2 x4 weaknesses, and doesn't quite have the stats to match up to our big green friend.
Tyranitar.

When you think about it, it is a tough choice. Well, Tyranitar is the winner stat-wise, but Aggron is the winner type-wise, because Aggron has the Steel type and Tyranitar, sadly, has a Rock type included. So Aggron is the likely winner.

Both pokemon are freakin' amazing. Both their cries are freakin amazing, but in the end, Tyranitar would be my winner.

Tyranitar, no doubt. Better design, great in battles and I'm very fond of it in general.

I would have to go with Aggron. It has an cool design, typing, and movepool, and its cry is simply awesome. I always tend to favor the underdog, though. I think Tyranitar is overrated (but that doesn't mean that I don't like it).

Also, recoil-less STAB Head Smash ftw! :P

I carest not who would win in battle. Aggron is just so awesome-looking, what with its horns and helmet, that I can pick nothing else~!
