Re: Writer's Workshop General Chat Thread
Hey everyone, what's up?
I'm kind of stuck right now between two ideas I have for my next fic, but I don't know which one to do.... *sigh*
Don't worry, I'll only start it after I finish Abdication. You can bet your ass I will finish that fic ;)

Re: Writer's Workshop General Chat Thread
I usually only have trouble starting a new chapter. After that, it's smooth sailing, generally.

Spell-checking. Which is a bastard given that I'm obsessive when I first get low and dirty with my grammar and syntax. Oh, and then there's five and a half thousand words. Joy. Might be up tomorrow. Or, to fix my attitude: It will be up tomorrow!

Is everyone stuck around here? Seriously, I'm about halfway through chapter 8 of Heart of Crystal, and I'm just staring at the screen going "how the hell am I going to wrap this up in a way that makes sense?"

Re: Writer's Workshop General Chat Thread
School, blurgh. Midterm on Wednesday, Constitution Day on Thursday, the fic needs spellchecking, and guess who's doing nothing but watching House - "doing nothing" includes not sleeping either (sleep is for puny mortals who have never been to a week-long LAN party before)

Lol, nice observation Feli. I'm stuck between those two ideas still. Anyone care to help me?
@Lady Lucifer; Of course school's taken a beating out of us :P That's what Sata-err, the principal pays his demo-uh, teachers to do ^^
Hopefully, everything will get back on track for all of us. We can hope, right? XD

Re: Writer's Workshop General Chat Thread
Let's hope so. Though I'm fairly certain I won't be up for much writing this week. 1500 word essay (roughly 6 pages) worth 15% of my grade due Tuesday, discussion write up for Monday, two midterms on Wednesday...then on Friday I'm playing D&D with my friends, and Saturday we're all going to the Renaissance Faire.

Re: Writer's Workshop General Chat Thread
Yeah, school hit me hard this term. I've got midyears this week (tomorrow onwards) and homework at the same time (teachers are so unfair u_u). Not to mention that I've started going to the gym three or four times a week. It's great, and I'm actually hugely enjoying the physical activity, but it takes a chunk out of my free time. Add to that the fact that production rehearsals have started now, and my schedule for the week (school notwithstanding) looks like this:
Monday (today): Gym - Upper body workout (1 hr)
Tuesday: Rehearsal - Learning a new song/dance number of some sort (1.5 hrs)
Wednesday: Badminton (2 hrs)
Thursday: Rehearsal - Singing and high-energy dancing (1.5 hrs)
Friday: Gym - Lower body workout (1 hr)
Saturday: Gym - Compound workout + cardio (2 hrs)
Sunday: Rehearsal - Ditto last rehearsal (2.5 hrs)
And I have a Spanish exam tomorrow and Wednesday, German and English on Wednesday, and Maths next Tuesday. History was last week. :P I have an ongoing English research assignment to bang out, a speech to write (in German) and several universities to fill out application forms for. hubububu pity me
