If I dream about something related to games, I usually see it as a sign that I need to take a break from them.

In other news, I'm done with my internship program I was tasked to make (as part of my internship). Feels great to get that over and done with :)

    Congrats Tophat :D

Does anyone ever have an issue with getting bored with something they are writing? I am trying to do a chapter of one of my series and I am just feeling a bit over writing this story :/

I've never run into that issue before. I feel like that's a result of having so many active stories at once. You're bound to find some that you don't enjoy writing as much as others. Try reading over some of your favorite already written bits to get back into it. If that doesn't work, write something else.

Or, the solution that always works: do it anyway. Inspiration and motivation are just mindsets.

What if you want to write for that fic but you also want to write something else. But wanting to write that something else makes you get bored of your current fic because you want to write that something else before focusing on that fic later.

I get that. I've been variously procrastinating and getting stuck with Chapter Seven of The Long Walk that I'm bored of the segment entirely now. I'm just trying to tell myself that I get to do all kinds of fun scenes later on if I can just get this one right.

I think the problem with this story (I shan't name names :P) is that its had a few dull chapters lately and I was hoping to have finished the whole thing before now but it is just dragging on a bit. I think your advice works best Aether; if I just keep writing, I am sure to get it done sooner rather than later :)

Gotta say, the awards banners this time looks great and fits well since X & Y were released this autumn. Job well done :)

By the way, @AceTrainer14;, isn't there missing a name at the best antagonist category in the main post of the Hall of Fame?

Yes, harry did a pretty fantastic job with them! And X/Y was the only thing we could really think of, there arent that many great Autumn themed Pokemon :P And I will go double check and see what is the case

I agree that there aren't so many autumn-themed Pokémon aside from Deerling and Sawsbuck (now that I think about it, how does their form change work in x & y?)

Just in case, it's just underneath the Villain badge I'm talking about.

Awful moment writing this morning: only just realised now, right in the final bit of writing the latest Galactic, that I have completely forgotten about a Pokemon that was meant to have been sent out for a lot of the story!!! Very frustrating :/ Please tell me other people make these mistakes?

Oh yes, especially in regards to the presence of Pokemon. You are not alone.

I went an entire chapter without a single Pokemon, except for a vague description of Sudowoodo that seemed to confuse readers about what it was. When I was rereading it after I finished it looking for grammar mistakes, only then did I go oops.

Sometimes when I'm writing, I forget that I'm supposed to be telling a story.

I just write about my characters hanging out with zero plot relevance or even character development.

I'm having to resist doing just that. I found I'd scripted out an entire lunchtime conversation on the way to the store this morning before I realised how banal it would be to read
