How you treat the characters is a completely differet subject xD
As for my stories well I really care for them, that's why I always feel bad when I can't think of something for them. But I care about the characters a lot more, they're like my children xD I mean I create their backstories their destinies. Let's face it guy in the worlds of our stories we're the gods xD and we decide who lives and who dies.
I care for my stories a lot too, and it's so frustrating when I get horribly stuck on something and leave them to languish.
It is isn't it?
Getting something published would make my day. I don't think you can publish something at 12 though, lol. Besides, I don't even know what I'd send in for publishing.
I don't really know either, though I have a lot of ideas on my head.
you can try submitting poems and short, original stories to magazines. some of mine have been accepted into magazines.
Well, when it comes to ideas and trying to get published, why don't you guys try this. I do this myself and find it quite useful, whenever I get a good idea for a short story, novel or even a character, I write it down for safekeeping in an "Idea Book".
As long as the idea itself is good enough, I just pen it in along with a scribble describing the genre and a short description. It's really great, I have tons of ideas and whenever I get back to writing, I'll simply pluck one out.
that's a pretty nice idea, starbrow :o.
by the way, if anyone wants to know what i got published in a magazine, a couple of poems i made got published and so did this short story i did.
My characters are my friends, I honestly find my self talking out loud as if I were speaking to them. I cry when they go through tragedies, and rejoice with their triumphs, which might be why I dislike killing them off.
My stories are filled with a large portion of my heart and energy. Whenever I have time, I think about my story. I replay scenes over and over in my head, until they seem right, before I even start writing. Once I do start writing, I want to finish. It might be those two things combined which make me want to finish my stories.
kind of sounds like me, lol. i hate killing off characters, but i do it for the good of the plot and story.
oh my god, i nearly fainted today. :x
I just killed my first character...wait, does it count if it's a Pokemon you like?
Really? what happened?
i guess so? :U
well, i have karate and i went to a morning class today and it was REALLY HOT in there, and it's like 90 degrees outside and the sun was shining in the room and i had a bunch of sparring equipment on so i almost had a heat stroke. ._.
So you can kick ass too xD
DOHOHO. of course i can.
