Yeah, a human anatomy class. Bleh.
Yeah, a human anatomy class. Bleh.
Chemistry... urgh. Even worse, I have to take a biology class next year. I look forward to getting my feet back on solid ground with a good old physics class. Less to memorize, more to actually think about.
I also eventually have to take classes on cultural diversity and discrimination that I've been putting off. Kind of a waste of time and money if you ask me, but hopefully they'll be interesting. I just feel like they're pointing out the differences. "Look at how weird these brown people are! Rather than just treating them with respect like any normal person, we should constantly be worrying about their religion and odd customs!"
...aaannnnd I'm ranting. I'll shut up :P
But to answer your question, Tophat, yes. Many times in the past and many more in the future.
Anything math ever for me.
I hate Chemistry so much.
I loved Chemistry! I always aced it. ^^
Same with biology and oceanography (the class I had to take in my senior year of high school). The only science I sucked at was physics. >.>
On another note, it's been over a week since I posted in the review game. ;_;
I aced the tests, did well on the info and theory in chemistry, but for some reason the experiments never turned out very well. I broke like three beakers, a thermometer and upended a water bin on the desks by accident twice. So yeah, that's me and my high school chemistry class. O_O
I got over 100% and corrected the teacher a few times in my environmental Biology in College, though. My math teacher in college kept trying to get me to change my major to math, too, because I aced all the tests. I was like, um, I think I'll stick with Graphic Design, I'm almost done with it already. Also, I don't want to be a math teacher, and that's what most math majors end up being. The only subjects I'm actually bad in are public speaking and foreign language. (I am seriously bad at public speaking, passed the class by the skin of my teeth. Though I found it was so much easier later when I got anxiety medication. I had to do a presentation and was like, huh, this isn't so bad! Apparently the level I freaked out during my presentations wasn't normal jitters, which explains a lot.)
Also I had to take photography for my major and I HATED IT. I hate taking pictures, if I can possibly avoid it, I will never do it again.
never did specialist Chem at high school, but manged to lose a good chunk of my hair a few times during science.
My Chemistry ended up being kind of messed up even though I managed to ace it. See, during my sophomore year, which was when I took the class, I moved in the middle of the year. The school I transferred to was so small, however, that they could only offer certain classes each year, and that year, they weren't offering Chemistry. So I was forced to take the second semester of physics BEFORE the first and I had to wait until the next year to finish both it and Chemistry. >.>
@vulcan539; That's a trick too, since as a guy, you probably don't have very long hair.
I was just boiling water in a beaker once and the entire bottom fell out. O_O It was totally not my fault but no one would let me live it down anyway.
On the other hand, I couldn't stand math and chemistry in high school. I find physics interesting, but I can't understand the math behind the concepts at all, so I've only got a superficial understanding of it. I didn't take a single math class in college, and all my science classes were things like astronomy and geology. My brain just doesn't work in complex equations and numbers.
I hate humanities. I hate it even more than I hate physics and PE. I was forced to take it because my stepbrother got me kicked out of our PE class. We normally weren't supposed to be in any of the same classes, but we ended up with the same PE class somehow and got into a fight. HE was the one that started it and it takes two to tango, so I don't know why he wasn't the one to get kicked out or get any sort of punishment at all.
But I hardly understood humanities at all. I barely passed it.
-goes to work on fic-
-can't find file-
-remembers that yesterday he was deleting some useless files from computer-
-eye twitch followed by facedesk-
Thankfully I keep the chapter I'm working on in a seperate file from the rest....unfortunately I forgot to make a back up of it.....something like this happen to you guys?
-goes back into denial and checks for file again-
Not exactly, but a long time ago, after I had just moved, I discovered my computer's hard drive was toast. Had to have been the damned movers. I lost EVERYTHING on it.
And more recently, the desktop computer I got to replace that one starting having boot-up issues. Luckily, I managed to transfer all my writing files to my laptop before it stopped booting up all the way entirely.
but, rather than complaining about it, I figure I might as well do as one of my favorite songs goes, "I've got to live with what I've done, and find the strength to continue"
