I'd love to be writing right now - it's the holidays - but I have so much homework that I don't think I'll be able to. ;;
The personal crisis is over but it was devastating and I'd prefer to curl up and die than write. Fun times.
awwww, @unrepentantAuthor; :c i usually listen to music after a bad day or situation, and that gets me to write, which was the outcome of my one-shot that i did.
besides drawing, writing has always been a good tool of mine to use to vent out something.
Okay, I think I just broke a new level of nerdery. I was at the gym this afternoon - a real gym - running on the treadmill with my iPod going. Suddenly I noticed that something familiar was playing . . .
The RSE Gym Leader theme . . . Yo dawg, I heard you like gyms, so we put gym music in your gym playlists so you can listen to gym battle music while you're at the gym.
*bzzt* Hey did I get through? *bzzzzzzzt* Hold on, something's still not *bzzzt* There we go. Finally, My Internet is back after 3 days without it! Not fun when most of my games is connected through Steam, preventing me from playing when there's no Internet :(
Anyway, that's not the only reason I'm in a good mood today. A few days before my Internet went down, I decided to try a contest over at the danish Gamereactor. The prize is 2 tickets to the cinema for the new Spider-man movie. All I had to do was to write in the comment section my most fond memory of Spider-man, be it the movie, the cartoon or animated series. And guess what I got in my mail today:-D
Wow, awesome, Tophat! Hope you enjoy the movie. :) I'm more of an Iron Man fan myself. He's just epicly cool. Though, I do love the 90s Spiderman cartoon. Spidey is hilarious in it lol. All his jokes about his situations. XD
Thanks Kelleo. By coincidence, it happened to be about some specific episodes of the 90s Spider-man animated series I wrote about. Namely, the "Make a Wish" and "Attack of the Octobot" episodes. I really liked those episodes, so that's why I wrote about them. And as a result, I got two tickets for the movie :) You can probably guess by now that I'm a Spidey-fan, which is somewhat ironic as I have arachnophobia :P.
I think I'm beginning to become an Iron Man Fan myself as well, as I've recently watched the first movie and the Armored Adventures series and can't wait for more.
Lucky! I hope you enjoy the movie--from what I hear, it's very good
Heh, I see. Oh, and you've got to see the second Iron Man movie then! I wouldn't say it's QUITE as good as the first, but it's still incredible nonetheless. Both movies made Iron Man my favorite super hero quite fast.
And yeah, irony like that will happen. In fact, I have a similar situation with the old Scooby Doo cartoons. I have culrophobia (fear of clowns), but my favorite episode is the one about the ghost clown. Haha.
Spiderman was my favorite super hero as a kid, he's so freaking cool! But as I got older I became more of a Batman fan. I've never read any superhero comics, as alas I missed the time periods :(. But I heard the new Spiderman movie is actually the more accurate one; the others didn't actually pertain to the real story told through the comics. I can't wait for the movie. Congrats Tophat! ^^
Spiderman's second now, only to Batman. He doesn't need any superpowers to be the awesome badass he is. Also, the Batman universe is just so cool.
Anyone ever play Marvel Avengers Alliance? Spiderman is one of the characters you can recruit
Oh yeah, forgot that. I like Ironman, but like said before, my all time favorite is Batman. Actually, Spiderman doesn't really use super powers either. He actually builds those web slinger things, you can see them on his wrist. True, that spider bit him, but he actually had to make something to harness the power.
