“Acid, can I trust you?”
This seemed to come out of nowhere, Acid looked up from the wurmple she was treating, “Of course you can, I am the most trustworthy person in the world.” She said with a hint of sarcasm.
“Acid Tongue! I am being serious, I will be going to a family reunion for a week and I need you to watch the center.” Nurse Joy looked at her with a harsh, but caring expression, “I spoke with Elise,” Acid stopped, “she told me you were better, she told me that I could trust you, and I believe her. I can see it in the way you care for pokemon, something a member of Team Rocket would never do.”
Acid looked at the Wurmple who was happily moving around after she finished treating his injured foot, “You can trust me.”

“So you know the diets of all the pokemon in sector A right?” Nurse Joy said right as she was going to leave.
“Remember you can trust me.” Acid said reassuringly.
“Oh wait! I forgot to tell you, there is a pichu in section D, he needs extra attention.” She said, “It has some social development issues, I trust you.” And the Pink haired Nurse was gone running out into the rain to catch her cab to the airport.
“Section D? That’s the Quarantine Center, social development issues?” Acid shook it off, she would take care of it, she knew it.

“Acid?” The purple-haired boy said as he walked into the center, “Acid where are you!”
“Come on, don’t just stand there, help me find the little devil!” she said throwing a bag of pichu food at him, her brown curly hair was sticking in all directions and had pieces of the pichu food stuck in it.
“Acid!” Wh-what happened?” he looked left and right, “What are you looking for?”
“Do you know what social development problems mean?” she asked not answering his questions.
“It means-,”
“It means the little beast is evil!” she lifted up a couch cushion, “What are you doing here anyway?”
“Elise told me I should check on you, and I-,”
“I thought she trusted me!” she cut him off again, she laughed bitterly, “Why should she? Besides obvious reasons, I can’t control one little pokemon! And she must really not trust me for sending you,” she said it with disgust.
He studied the floor, he wiped a drop of water around on the ground, that seemed to fall from the sky, “Elise didn’t really send me.”
“Oh yeah who did huh?”
“I came because I wanted too not because someone told me too,” he looked back up, “So a little devil beast?”
She stopped and pondered his words for a while, “Yes, that evil mastermind, that evil pichu!”
“A pichu?” he said wondering if she was joking.
“An evil one,” she began to explain the many horrors she had faced that week, how the pichu acted so darling when she came to check on it and then it ran out the door and locked her in! One she found her way out, the whole place was a mess, “The food and the medicine was all over the floor, and the little monster was harassing my patients, you should have seen poor little wurmple cowering behind a desk! Now I can’t find the rodent and Nurse Joy comes back today in four hours!”
“Then let’s find him!” he said, “I’ll go down this hallway you go down that one.”
She nodded, “Good Luck.”
After an hour of fruitless searching, Acid was just about to give up, when she heard a crash, “Hey! Did you find him?”
“Help! Come please help, owww!” he yelled from the other hallway.
“Hang on I’m coming!” she raced to the crime scene.
He was on the floor, his clothes slightly singed, with the pichu on top of him pulling his hair, “Get off me you little beast, and give me back my top hat!”
Acid snuck up from behind and grabbed hold of the pichu, it tried to shock her several times, but she wasn’t going to let that stop her, she tossed the pichu into his room and quickly locked the door. “Whew,” she sighed, sliding down unto the floor.
“My hat! This hat was custom made by five tailors, now it’s bent,” he pouted
“Oh it will be alright you-,” she almost said crybaby, “helpful person.”
“You’re welcome-,” he began.
She cut him off again, but using her lips in a different way.
“Wow,” he said amazed.
“Shut-up,” she wacked him in the head, “but again thank-you.”
