The legion of children exchanged glances; they all knew what they wanted, and in one voice, they spoke up: "PokéRap!"
Brock was taken back by this, and for a moment he didn't know how to react; did they not like his classic songs all along?
"PokéRap?" Brock tilted his head to the side. "Why not the classic songs? And either way, I can't play the PokéRap on a guitar."
"We don't want the classic stuff," a boy shouted from the audience. "PokéRap is fun!"
"But you were just singing with me," Brock pleaded. "What happened?"
Their voices rose all at once, protesting and explaining. Some blamed their parents for teaching them the classical songs, while some claimed to have just been humming along, unaware of the correct words to the song, but all of their excuses confirmed one thing: This was a different generation, and somehow, Brock will have to pass his love of the classical songs to them.
A bit short, but that's what I can come up with for now. Quite enjoyed writing this one, and sorry for my lack of response, I've been busy, and even had to leave the forum for some time. Anyway, I think you'll get more response if you change the prompts' genre every now and then. I really don't mean to offend you, because I know this is your favourite genre, but Anime fanfiction doesn't seem to the favourite in the Workshop. Just trying to help.

Re: The Weekly Prompt Thread
There's an idea--may tap into the game canon or even other animes if I can think of something

YES! *awaits to write a Digimon story*
I will try to participate more now, though. Since I have the time for it, most of the time...

Maybe the next few will involve aspects of the games (or stuff in the games)

Of course, you're welcome to submit ideas too--but I (or another Workshop mod) need to have them by Friday

Your prompt this week:
Wow! You've encountered a Legendary! You can't capture it, so what do you do with the Legendary you found?

Lia & Rayquaza
"Oh, crap," Lia gulped. "That was my last Poké Ball."
Rayquaza examined the trainer as last Pokémon, Sceptile, fell to the ground. It studied her and approached her slowly; how dare she try to capture it?
"S-Sceptile?" Lia stuttered. "I-I need help."
But her Pokémon gave no response, and with a loud roar, Sceptile began fading into the horizon. Lia's mind took a while to process what just happened, and she realised, when it was too late, that Rayquaza had grabbed her, and she was flying towards Rayquaza's natural habitat; what it would do to her, she didn't know, but she had to get out of his grasp.
She struggled, but the more she did, the tighter Rayquaza's grip became. "Let me go, you idiot!" she shouted. "You're an idiot!"
Rayquaza stared at her and grinned. She was treating him like a human, and she wasn't thinking. He loosened his grasp slightly, letting her slip out a little, just to make her realise that she will fall to her death. And as soon as the horror on her face was evident, she started falling.
Her voice failed her, and she continued falling. The rushing wind almost deafened her, but a distinct sound reacher her.
Her Swellow was rushing to her side, with Sceptile on top of it. Another roar, and Rayquaza descended from the clouds, shooting an attack at her Pokémon.
Despite her situation, Lia started crying for her Pokémon. Sceptile had jumped off of Swellow, grabbed her, and protected her with his body as they started falling to the ground. But it was Swellow, of the cloud of feathers that was Swellow, that brought her to tears.
They fell through another layer of clouds, and eventually, impacted with the sea. Sceptile swam her to the shore, while the ocean swallowed her tears. She knew that she can't catch Rayquaza anymore, but she can kill it.

Your prompt this week:
Imagine that Generation 6 is on its way (for the purposes of the prompt, they are named Pokemon Maroon and Pokemon Navy), and Nintendo makes a bold move--allow the fans to provide input for the game.
So with that in mind, what would you put into the game? What would the story be like (bear in mind they still have to make it out with an E rating)? What new Pokemon would you want to see?

Re: The Weekly Prompt Thread
Your prompt this week is a little different:
"In this world, titles mean everything! That means that I, the captain and highest ranking officer at this base, am the most superior person here! So everything I do is right!"--Captain Morgan, One Piece episode 2
Or is it? Write a letter to Captain Morgan explaining why strength and superiority isn't everything when it comes to being a good leader.

Your prompt this week:
Do you think the Pokeworld has its own national day? If so, when do you think it is? Is it on one fixed date, or does it change from year to year (or whenever a new Pokemon Master/Mistress comes to power?) What do you think festivities are like on this day?

Sinnoh Tour – Day 21
As we near the end of our tour, we also near a very important day. You will visit Mt. Coronet on this day, but spend the majority of your time planning with your guides.
Day 22 of the tour also happens to be the Sinnoh Celebration Day. The celebration will take place inside Mt. Coronet, and it is held annually in order to show our respect and appreciation for the wonderful land that is Sinnoh, and it’s rich history.
You, the tourists, can participate if you like, which is the main reason for visiting the formation; you can study the area. Each year, the tourist groups arrange a festival of their own, to show the inhabitants how they perceive Sinnoh.
The ceremony will start with a reenactment of the myth of creation, and build up towards the more recent history, with Cynthia herself reenacting her rise to Championship.
We do hope you choose to participate in the event. Your guides will answer any question you might have, and assist you in case you decide to create your own attraction for the celebration.
Please enjoy your visit to Mt. Coronet.
In case it is confusing, it's supposed to be part of a tour brochure.
