How about the trainer who overslept soooo much on his first day that the proffesor had given away all the pokemon in his lab to all the other trainers who overslept, and all he has left is a big stick which he gives to the trainer to whack pokemon on the head with, so instead of battling other trainers with his pokemon he just runs up to their pokemon and whacks em' with a big stick. Also something with a wobuffet. i like wobuffets.

Okay, I know there is a ton of stories about journey themes, but I am going to try to make one. Any ideas??????

I'm making a journey fic! But it's set in a different region, Hakaito (Hokkaido), with original main characters, gym leaders and everything! It's so much fun, it's called 'Faith', and it's in the Writers' Corner! Woo!

Well, I have previews for some of my story. . Perhaps you'd like to hear them? ^^

I seemed lost and confused. Was I in love? Or was I feigning it? My mind couldn't place its thought on the boy I wasn't sure I loved at all. Perhaps it was lust. Lust for that boy he so proudly shows when we go to the beach. Lust for the delicious, get-out-of-my-face attitude. Lust for even the exciting way he looks at me with those eyes. Those eyes that were as cold as ice to others, melting away as they saw me.

I was proud to be his friend, but I wanted to be proud to be his lover . . . No. . I wasn't sure what I wanted. It was all a lie. A lie to myself and a lie to him. I try to hide it, like I try to hide many things. Things like my lust for his brother. Things like my greed, my envy, my pride, my wrath, my lust. . What sin am I not committed of right down to a tee? I knew for a fact that I was a sufferer. A sufferer of sins, of lies, and of everything that had gone on in my pathetic life.

My life which has no meaning. . No soul. What was I really here for? Was it just to be alive? Just because my heart is beating, it doesn't mean I'm alive. It simply means I can function. To be without a heart is the same as to be with a heart. A cold heart that is melted away by the boy's stare.

Still, I can never figure out the difference between lust and love. Was love simply lust? No, love had these 'feelings' people speak of. I couldn't see the difference, both lust and love have certain feelings about them that I just couldn't differenciate from the other. If I can't figure out what the difference between lust and love is, how will I ever know if I love this boy?

Well, what do you think? =] I tried to make it extremely deep to get the meaning across. Can you pick out the meaning?

I have several different plotbunnies.

1) Orange Islands series. Our Heroes wander into another prophecy, except that this one is a fake. At least, that's what the woman whose Grandfather wrote it thinks, since it was part of a play he wrote for a festival. Unfortunately, the leader of the island disagrees and decides that Pikachu is the Great Destroyer described in the prophecy. Ash, however, comes to believe that the prophecy is describing him. Unfortunately, he's right.

2) Johto series. Ash is arrested for stealing Pikachu. Misty and James are on the run together. Brock is in the hospital, comatose. Officer Jenny has vanished. Two former Team Rocket members, Billy and Bonnie, seem to be responsible, with the help of Deputy Diane. When Professor Oak, Delia, and Tracey show up, things get even worse.

3) Sequel to #2. Our Heroes are finally leaving Longwood, still recovering from their injuries. When stopped in an abandoned rose garden for the night, Misty meets a mysterious boy, and if you are familiar with the ballad "Tam Lin", you'll know where this is going- except that in this, Tam ain't the good guy.

4) Sinnoh series. Ash disappears, and when he is found, his Pokemon aren't. This brings back bad memories for Tracey, Brock, and Hunter J. Brock and Hunter J also discover an unexpected and unwanted connection. Introduces some new villains who I plan to use again: the Shadow Guild. They run a Pokemon Deathmatch arena and are always looking for strong Pokemon and Trainers; they aren't too particular whether either are willing or not. Brock was held by them for a while, and escaped by sheer dumb luck. J was affiliated with them as well, but the extent of her involvement is not described. What little she does reveal indicates that she was much younger at the time and that she has an almost psychotic hatred of the Guild.

5) Crossover/AU. Resetting the TV series "Magnificent Seven" in the Pokemon world.

6) Crossover. Batman Beyond. Terry gets kidnapped by a dimension-hopper and dumped in the Pokemon world during the Johto years. To his exasperation, he Terry Sues by being able to understand Pokemon speech. Of course this makes him a target, or we wouldn't have a real plot.

6) Crossover. Batman Beyond. No connection to other story. Terry gets zapped by crazy with raygun and ends up in Pokeworld as a blue-eyed Riolu. He gets captured by Paul almost immediately, and puts up with it just long enough to learn about the mess he's landed in, then breaks his Pokeball, runs off, and runs into Our Heroes. He also runs into others who were zapped, but most of them are content to remain Pokemon. I don't know how Terry will get back to being human or back to his own world yet.

7) Sequel to #4. Our Heroes find Hunter J in bad shape. She warns them that the Shadow Guild has decided that Ash is too valuable a commodity to lose, and want to reclaim Brock as well. While J is her usual charming self, she is acting on the "Enemy of my Enemy" principle and is going to work with Our Heroes whether they like it or not. This is as far as I've gotten, because I want to finish the earlier story before starting the sequel.

8) Another J story, not connected to the other two. James and Ash are injured by a trap J set for a Pokemon, and J captures pretty much everyone. Deciding she doesn't want to be bothered carting around wounded, she uses her petrification device on Ash and James and leaves them in the woods. Dawn, Brock, Jesse, and most of the Pokemon are hauled away, but Gliscor, Sudowoodo, and Mime Jr. manage to avoid capture. They keep watch over the statues while the others work on escaping and making their way back with the necessary equipment to rescue the two.

9) What happens when an otherwise sensible writer comes across one too many godawful self-insertion stories? Well, for one thing, Paul learns why you don't honk off somebody who can quote large parts of dialogue from Red Dwarf, Terry Pratchett, and Gilbert & Sullivan.

And that's just the stuff I can think of now, for this fandom. Sometimes I wish my brain would work a bit less...

Edit: Another just appeared. Paul made a snide remark about a character in a fanfic, and suddenly I had a new character and the beginning of a story. Wierd thing is, the only thing his remark has to do with the story is the OC's hair. My brain is a strange and wonderful place. Well, strange, anyway.

10) First person POV, Female OC, Sinnoh anime. A girl is resuming her long-interrupted Pokemon journey, having dropped out of training to stay with her dying mother. Her mother has just died, and the girl puts her possessions in storage with her grandparents, staying with them for a little while first. On talking to her father's family, she learns that her uncle has vanished and decides to search for him while traveling. Like Nando, she does both contests and gym battles, but in her case, it's because she doesn't believe in limiting her options unnecessarily. She will meet up with Our Heroes, and they will travel together for a while since they're heading in the same direction. They'll help her look for her uncle. I haven't quite decided whether this will be her story and the canon characters show up or if this is their story and she's just narrating and giving some assistance. If I go with the first, looking for her uncle will be the main plot and they'll find him in the end. If I go with the second, her uncle is just part of her backstory and at the end she'll leave and continue her search on her own.

I have a few plot Bunearies. O_o

1) April Fools Day. Darkrai (female) and Palkia play a trick on the Baron; his next dream comes true.
His next dream is a pregnancy dream- chaos ensues.

2) Songfic. Cresselia/Arceus ship type of thing.

3) Darkrai goes mad during the new moon and attacks Alice. I've written one similar to this, but it was a songfic.

4) And I have quite a few that aren't related to Pokemon. XD

Okay, this is driving crazy. Anybody seen the second season of Ghost Whisperer? The Christmas fic I'm currently working on is like a Pokémon combo of Ghost Whisperer and The Haunted Mansion. Here's sort of how it goes so far-

The main feature is Mistress Sable's Christmas party, which Ash and May are mysteriously invited to. (They have to go, they've been trapped in the town by an ice shaft that has encased the caverns, the only way to the next town)

(Sorry Agatha fans) Agatha is now dead, and is trapped in purgatory due to unfinished buisness with her sister, Abigail, most likely the fact that Abigail (Mistress Sable) is forcing Agatha's granddaughter Amber to become to heir to her estate (Which was inherited by Agatha, and was clearly stated in her will she wanted it to be kept vacant)

Thaere is also a butler named Winthrup, but it's driving me nuts trying to figure out how he is going to play a role in the "trapped spirit thing" (He knows Abigail is also dead, even Amber doesn't) I think I'll make it that Agatha and Winthrup courted and were planning to get married before she deceased.

Agatha appears before Ash or May multiple times, although she never lets herself in view of anybody else.

Here is another thing I'm going to have to figure out:
How did Abigail die. I think maybe I will make it that after she inherited Agatha's mansion (and adopted Amber) she possibly broke her hip in the basement (Like an episode of Ghost Whisperer), but I don't want it to be too intense.

At the end, Abigail reveals she is no longer living to Amber, as does Agatha, but I have no idea how I'll sum up the whole story. In The Haunted Mansion, the spirits, if I recall correctly, were kept in purgatory (Gracey because of Sara's murder) and the servants (Because they could not abandon the lord of the manor) and Ramsly, the butler, well... murdered Sara, but because the movie was so vivid, I don't want to do that similair of a plot. How can I compete with the fireplace opening as a gate to hell? Besides, Winthrup isn't meant to be evil.

If somebody could help me out, I'd appreciate it. These problems are keeping me from finishing my first draft.

Okay, this is a double post, but it's been weeks. So... hello? Where did everyone go?

I'm actually in the process of writing a trainer fic where the theme isn't becoming the Champion/anything similar. instead, it's about a trainer, of sorts, surviving in the pokemon world.

Another story is about what happens to a champion after the've done everything to reach the top.

And then, of course, my ideas on Cyrus's backstory. Personally, I looove Cyrus, simply because he seems the most "in there" of all the game villains thus far. Did anyone here know he's only 27? It's true!

Personally, I'd like to explain his reasons fro wanting to become a god. Why is he the way he is? This idea got started when I realized he had a CROBAT in D/P. Crobat evolve via FRIENDSHIP. Sound suspicious to you? (JUSTNOTICED: He also has a weavile, which evolve via *you guessed it* Friendship, again.)

The story's working title is Torn (after the Torn World)(I hate the name Altered World, Torn sound oh so much cooler.). Writing will begin when I get to that point in Platinum. I've been researching everything he says extensively so that I can be as legit as possible. It will be posted bith her and on Fanfiction.net, where my username is eeveebreeder678.

Right now, I'm writing the survival fic. It's working title is: This Side of Paradise.

anyways, I am inspired to start writing my own fic after readin some of the better ones on here.

I want to do a shipping fic, but i don't neccessarily want to do it about Ash or any of the main characters.

Any ideas for ships that need some love///?
