Personally, I don't know.
I have never participated before and although I'll most likely fail I really want to at least give it a shot - to see where it goes. But I'm pretty sure most of the writers here have participated at least once in the NaNoWriMo. How did it go? Did any of you guys win? Did you completely lose your mind while in process?
This is more a question out of curiosity than anything. =P
So, is anyone here gonna be participating?
I'm going to do attempt it this year. I might not be successful, but I haven't written Original Stories in a while, and I want to, which is why I'll do it.
Hmm, I might. I'm thinking about it.
atemmpted it twice. First time made it to 7,000 words but then started to drown in homework.
2nd time: Got 200 words in my story but then lost intrest in the plot.
Yep. Gonna give it my second shot this year, and with my first original fiction story! Quite the exciting concept.
I tried last year with a piece of fan ficton; of course, with my luck, that pesky "life" thing ended up getting in the way, and I was able to complete about three thousand words before giving up.
On another, slightly off-topic note: NaNo begins on my birthday! XD Amazing timing.
I've ideas and plot and stuff in my head but there's this pesky 'real life' thing getting in the way.
If I somehow manage to squeeze in homework, exams, half a day lost in school, going out with friends, level grinding in LoL, all the upcoming tasks for the Interact Club and following all the recent anime series and still manage to find time to write, I'll tell you.
I'm going to give it that old college try because I've got this bunny running around in my head. It is about time I put it to some use.
Yeah, Taking Flight might actually get finished that way.

Yep! Fourth year in a row doing it. I've reached 50k the past two years, but this year I actually want to finish the book.
I've been planning out characters and the plot in class for a few months.
Hell to the yes. I want to complete it this year. I have an idea but that's it.
Well For all Of The Wrimos On BGMF, i thought we could have a place on bulbagarden that we could talk about our stories, how we are getting ready, and how much we will write daily when it starts and total word count goal.
Well for me. I am making an adventure story thats fully fiction and i want to get at least 50k since being my first year. im probably going to do 1700 to 2000 a day.
and also how about we post our Novels in december when they are done and edited.
(Mods could we have this stickied since this is a huge writing topic thats going to start in a week!)
