Thread: When Did You Start Spriting?

May 2010, when I joined Bulbagarden.

I know I was spriting in 2008, and I think that was the year I started. I'm on my phone right now, so I'll post my first sprite later, if I can find it.

I started spriting in my Serebii years (Mid 2009) I got into animations and own a shop here called Laser Meguroco, Since I am only ten right now and have nothing but paintbrush (like Paint but for mac) I'm not the best.

i started about a year a year and a half ago with doing pokemon eggs. and btw kibago everyone mainly uses ms paint for spriting. only for banners do i use anything else

Way back when, when I was only 11. 2005, or something.

When I was... thirteen, maybe? 2008, I think. I started scratch spriting a month or so before I joined BMGF.

I think I started last summer. My first sprite was actually so bad that I deleted it from my pictures a LONG time ago.

Here's one of my oldest sprites, and the most recent update of the same character:

I started spriting at the age of seven. (That woud be 2003). I didn't even knew that what I was doing was spriting. I lost my first ever sprite, but I remember it was a Porygon scratch. My first ever sprite I did here, at bulbagarden, was "Qwilgon"- a qwilfish recolor with Porygon's hues. It was the mascot of my sprite shop here for a while. ^^

I would say 1-2 months before I did my sprite shop. It was a Gallade Lucario Splice... Aw, all the memories are coming back. :D
