A MENACING MONSTER
Your mission is to create a monster to loom over the city, using only sprites.
OH NO!
The monster is on a rampage!
Create another sprite monster to destroy it!
Whoever wins gets a special Medal to put in their signature.
Anybody who has one or more medals can compete in a
Super Sprite Contest!
Which will happen sometime next year.
DEADLINE IS FEB 20
Anyone who doesn't get their entry in is disqualified.

here's what I have so far:


in an early mining expedition, miners in Unova tunnelled down a narrow crack in the earth, believing diamonds of near-unlimited value and rare undiscovered Pokemon to be hiding at the deepest part of a cavern. while they were right about the diamonds, they had overestimated the cave roof strength, it collapsed bringing the miners down with it.

right on top of an enormous Pokemon.

oh boy.


the enormous Seisrawk, heavier than Mt coronet and twice as large as the tallest building in Unova, went into a frenzied rage and stomped down as many buildings as it could find, snacking occasionally on innocent passers-by. the trainers of the era tried to calm down the enormous pokemon, but he just stepped on them with his enormous foot. who will save Unova now?



it seemes like Seisrawk wasn't the only one to awaken. Espellu(red)and Espalle(blue) rose from the murky depths of the cave and used their incredible psychic abilities to fight against Seisrawk, despite each being as large as an average housecat.

after many hours of intense fighting, the giant beast was pushed into the Unovan sea, never to be seen again. the locals gave the psychic twins half of the diamonds they found in the cave, the other half was used to rebuild the city, to this day, no one has seen Espellu and Espalle since, though they are rumored to hide under the earth, near Sinnoh's underground.

I will enter... so we can only use other official sprites to make the new sprite?

Yeah. No generation lock though. You can revamp old gens or keep them how they are.

My entry:

Evil Monster: Tyrestelix

Lives among the grass fields located on a mountain desolate from the rest of the world. No other pokemon can survive living among side it. This demon uses its dark, evil powers to set ablaze to anything and everything.

Good Monster: Solariti

This pokemon flies over cities in distress and uses its magical powers to save not only wounded and injured pokemon but the townspeople as well. It is said to whoever is lucky enough to capture/befriend this pokemon will gain eternal health and happiness.

its helmet looks heavy yet only for darthshin it weighs like a feather. it is rumored that darthshin was a spirit of a evil ruler who knew magic.

good beast

pyroblaze was thought to be a flaming shell a darthshin burned in its evil doing.
pyroblaze was discovred in the victory road when they were mineing and hides in its shell for protection.
