The small blue bird with white cloud like wings had healed Skarmory's status problems with a small dance called Heal Bell. I wasn't to fond of it, but it did work in my favor, waking up Hotshot in the process. The sound was also nice and relaxing, but I couldn't let that distract me. Now I just had to bring his health down and inflict another status condition on him, preferably another Thunder Wave attack. I just had to think of a strategy to bring the steel bird down to low health to capture it. I was going to have to first raise his special attack to get a weak attack in that would do the least damage.. That would give me the chance to use a move that didn't do much damage but did a good amount of damage. As long as the Swablu stayed distracted with Siless' Gardevoir, I could focus on this bird, but I knew that Swablu was tricky so I wasn't letting my guard down. At the very least, if it attacked Cybershock, he could easily counter it with one of his moves which should push the Swablu's attack aside.
I would have him raise his special attack with Nasty Plot then I would use a small noneffective move like Tri Attack to slowly lower the health of Skarmory and hopefully inflict a burn or paralysis in the process. Skarmory was all steel, except for the undersides of its wings. I figured a weak spot would be near that area towards the chest. His head was also a good place to aim for, but since it was small, it would be hard to get a direct hit on his head. It would be better to just aim for the chest, giving him a higher chance of hitting it.
"Alright, use Nasty Plot, then use that energy and create a Tri Attack. Just don't hurt it too much." I called out to the Computer Pokemon. Cybershock began changing from a black and red to a dark grey color as his eyes began to glow red. He focused of Skarmory and created dark thoughts in his head, thoughts that would help him take the Skarmory down. They were dark, sneaky plans, which would use those plans on the armored bird. He would then project those dark thoughts into an attack, which would power it significantly. Even though it was a powerful attack, it wouldn't do much because it wasn't super effective to the Skarmory because he is a Steel type. Since he was part flying, I would just use an Electric attack next to do even more damage.
Then, he would form three different colored beams; an angry red, peaceful blue, and earthly green colors would come out of Cybershock's body and intertwined together to form a radiant multi-hued beam that he would launch at the Skarmory. Tri Attack usually had a side effect that inflicted a status effect such as causing a burn or paralysis, or even freeze the opponent. It had a small chance to cause that, which was too small to count on, but I could hope. If I was lucky, it would work as planned, but the way my luck was going, I wasn't going to count on luck. If this didn't work, I would just switch to another Pokemon. Perhaps I would even use Skyfire and have an Aerial Battle. Skyfire was pretty fast, but he was better in using Physical Attacks, so his Fire Fang attack would come in handy because not only was it strong, it was super effective. I would just power him up with a quick Dragon Dance so that both his speed and attack would be raised one stage, which would make him faster than the Skarmory, but I wasn't going to worry about that now.
