Thread: Main RP: Meteor Valley

"Neat, an Abra." Alpha said to me. I just let out a groan. Yeah Abra evolved into the powerful Alakazam, but that wasn't what I had come to the Park for. However, I remembered when I went to Deckbi I only left with one Pokémon, so I wasn't making that mistake again. I was going to at least try and capture this little guy. If anything, I could use it for trading purposes. Abra are hard to catch so people would want one. This would surely get me something worthwhile. If not, it could be quite useful in my team. Either way it was a win win situation. I felt kind of good since my luck was starting off good. I just hoped it stayed that way.

"Shadow, you're up. Not sure how we're going to do this, but I don't want you hurting it too much." I called out to him. He jumped in front of me and bared his teeth at the levitating Psi Pokémon signaling it to ready itself for battle. "We're going to take this nice and slow." I looked around at my surroundings. All I saw were just a bunch of rocks and a bit of fog. I couldn’t see anything that we could use to our advantage. I didn't want to start off with a full on attack, not yet at least. I wanted to toy with it a bit to see how it reacted. Abra weren't known to be all that active since they had to spend most of their time sleeping to power their energy. I hoped his power wasn't charged right now because I didn't want Shadow taking too much damage, though if he did I had all sorts of medicines and healing items to fix that.

I figured that if I start off with Taunt it might come charging at us with an attack. Or even a special attack since that seemed more reasonable given its type. When it did that, Shadow would confuse it and buy himself some time to attack with Double Team. So the Abra would be angry from the Taunt and confused from the Double Team. Those two weren't a good combination. All I had to do was hope that it worked, but knowing Shadow, he'd pull it off without breaking a sweat. He was good at timing things perfectly and dealing just the right amount of damage.

"Okay Shadow, Taunt it. Then when it starts to attack, use Double Team and when you get in close use Bite." I shouted, "We can get an early advantage if you pull this off right. Watch it carefully, don't let it teleport away. You can do this." Shadow let out a loud growl to catch the Abra's attention. As soon as he got it, he'd start making faces at the Abra and cause it to act irrationally. Then when it attacked, Shadow's body would begin glowing white and quickly make several copies of himself to confuse the Abra. I wanted to try and do this as quickly as possible. So as soon as Shadow preformed that move, I would have him attack with a small, but effective move. Bite was the logical choice. When Double Team was set up he'd have a small opening to strike the Abra. Then I'd calm the Abra down with my fragrance and throw my Superball, or Hyperball to make sure it's successful. I didn't like leaving things to chance; I usually liked waiting until my odds looked high.

After this was over I would go on and continue to look for a Golett or Zorua. Either one of those two would be an excellent addition to my team, especially Zorua because of its genius ability which allowed it to create illusions to beat and confuse its opponents. Golett was just an interesting Pokémon that looked like a robot. Like Porygon, Golett is thought to have been created by ancient civilization science. I wasn't sure if that was true, but if I found one I definitely would like to find out. Unlike in my Deckbi expedition, I was going to keep a more open mind in this area. I wanted to be sure I didn't miss out on anything interesting. I was still a bit unsure whether or not I wanted to use my Psychic repellant, but I was glad that I hadn't used it yet or else I might not have found this Abra.

I heard footsteps behind me and noticed that the two trainers had arrived. They had been there for sometime because they already had wild Pokémon in front of them. Either that or they were just extremely lucky. They didn’t seem to interested in the Pokémon in front of them though, I turned back to my battle and waited for my plan to unfold.

Within a few minutes I had caught up with Joe, a fellow ranger and a friend of mine along with his Lucario. Rotom hovered over to Lucario who stared at it oddly Rotom leaned in really close and in one swift movement licked Lucario, startling it.

"Hey, watch it!" I snapped at Rotom. She gurgled happily and we continued walking pass the tall grass.

"Loin!"

"Bat!"

I turned to see a dark leopard and a fuzzy blue bat nearby. I pulled out a Pokedoll and tossed it towards the fuzzy bat. Next I took out my pokeplayer and a daek disk. The voice of a Zorua rang out.

Abra BP#1

"Shadow, you're up. Not sure how we're going to do this, but I don't want you hurting it too much." Cameron tossed a red and white ball in the air. The black color of the Pokemon it revealed seemed to have blended well with the foggy surroundings at Meteor Valley. Alpha looked back to see the other two trainers who were having their fair share of encounters as well. "We're going to take this nice and slow," Cameron added.

"He's going to do this as serious as ever," Alpha commented.

"Okay Shadow, Taunt it. Then when it starts to attack, use Double Team and when you get in close use Bite. We can get an early advantage if you pull this off right. Watch it carefully, don't let it teleport away. You can do this," Cameron was quick enough to make sudden decisions.

Abra suddenly began to close itself inside a green round barrier. Alpha knew that the barrier was capable of preventing moves from reaching Abra in the first place--Protect was a smart choice for a Pokemon like Abra. Houndoom barked its name out at Abra, and made weird faces that could eventually mock it into attacking it head on. Sadly, the attack was not working at all. It was like Protect gave Abra the powers to fight against Houndoom's taunts. For starters, this Abra was already a tough nut to crack, Alpha hoped that Cameron could see things through this battle so that he could win this one for himself and for his team.

As soon as Abra's green barrier faded into existence, Houndoom suddenly multiplied into a dozen more copies of itself, surrounding the helpless Abra in the first place. Abra, on the other hand, just glowed with a purple aura until Houndoom's copies began to turn into copies of Abra. "This can't be happening!!" Alpha complained. With that yellow psi Pokemon using Snatch to take away Houndoom's Double Team was a brilliant idea, although it couldn't probably escape Houndoom's fangs.

Roaring loudly, Houndoom ran around in circles, biting each and every one of the clones, trying to fight the foggy terrain as well. The copies of Abra vanished into thin air, while Houndoom succeeded in biting Abra, but managed to hit only its tail. But still, its grasp was strong that it could painfully damage Abra's tail.

NBP#3

The two was not wasting more time with their first encounters. Both of them got a Pokedoll from their respective bags and began to throw them somewhere else where Purrloin and Woobat cannot follow them. "Over here!" Alpha raised his hand and made gestures that told them to come near him. He was sitting on a large boulder, with Cameron fighting an Abra on his right. As soon as the two got beside Alpha, the fog began to thicken up a bit. Jay sat down in the darkness of the valley and pulled out a Pokeplayer as well, hoping to get a Zorua come to them.

The silence was deafening. Alpha wasn't hearing anything except Houndoom's barking while it was biting every last one of Abra's clones.

"Toy," two purple circles glowed from within the fog, suddenly approaching Joe.

"Is it just me, or is the other Abra clone comes closer to Jay?" Alpha's eyes widened. But it was true. From within the dozen clones of Abra, a single one went away from the rest of the group and slowly crawled its way towards Jay. "I dunno with you guys, but I'll just sit here in the meantime and watch all three of you battle!" Alpha commented.

Abra threw up a green force of energy that shielded it from any physical and special attacks. Moves like Taunt still should have worked since Abra could still physically see Shadow. For whatever reason though, it wasn't working. Despite that, I was pretty content that he got in and dealt a bit of damage to the Abra. It was more than I expected. With that, Shadow's task was now complete. It was time for phase two.

"Alright Shadow, stand over here next to me." I pulled out another Pokeball. "Great job boy, now it's Powerglide's turn." I tossed the Pokeball in front of me, releasing a white, black, and red Pokémon with a round-shaped body. Her triangle-shaped wings flapped up and down as she gained air. "Okay, I want you to use Yawn, then hit it with Shadow Ball. That should give us what we need to capture this little guy. To make things easier, I'll use this Calming Fragrance Plus. That should briefly calm it down and give you enough time to hit it with yawn."

Powerglide cried happily as she made circles in the air. I pulled out a small bottle of the Calming Fragrance Plus and released the fumes. I was hoping these fumes would give us the chance for Powerglide's Yawn to work. As soon as the bottle was empty I signaled Powerglide to begin the plan. The little red and blue triangle-shaped spots on her underbelly were glowing white as she formed a small cloud. My guess was that that cloud was filled with toxins that caused the one who smelt it to pass out. As soon as she released that, she began forming a ghastly orb of dark energy. I could see small sparks coming off of the orb as she prepared to launch it at Abra. If all this went well, I'd be ready to capture the little guy.

"Come over here," Ragna, our ranger said to the pair of us. I watched as the other person travelling with us battled against an Abra. I knew I recognised this trainer but I didn't say anything because I didn't want to disturb him and break his concentration. I sat down on the large rock beside Joe and gave him a friendly shove.

"Whaddup dawg?" I asked, putting a lot of emphasis on each of the two words. He wasn't looking at me however; he was looking at the fog that had suddenly crept up on us. Through this rather thick fog I saw two glowing purple eyes and shuddered. The eyes crept forward and soon the outline of the Pokemon came into view. It was a small brown Pokemon with ancient looking red prints on its body. Joe didn't stop staring and it looked like neither of the two wanted to break their stare.

There was a flash of white and I saw a small yellow human-like creature appear before me. It was covered in thick brown pads and its eyes hovered on the verge of closing. I recognised this Pokemon as an Abra-- the first evolution of the mighty Alakazam, something I wanted to add to my collection for a long time. Rotom wasn't paying much attention to it so I decided to call out one of my newest recruits, Galvantula

"Galvantula, come on out!" I said as I tossed his red and yellow Pokeball into the air. There was a red beam that shot out of it and within a few seconds a large purple spider covered in yellow fuzz appeared. It clicked its tongue at me when I told him what the opponent was.

"Thunder Wave and follow up with a Bug Buzz!" I commanded and I saw Galvantula close his eyes as he began to channel his electrical energy.

"Come over here," Alpha, our ranger said to us. Joe looked up and stared towards the ranger and smiled. Her outstretched hand waving from left to right to try and catch our attention. Joe raced ahead of Jay and sat down beside Alpha on the large rock. Ahead of Alpha was another Trainer who seemed to be battling an Abra. Joe had already stated how envious he was of the trainer. Moments later, Joe looked up and noticed Jay slowly walking up the hilltop. He walked over to Joe and raised his right fist and gently punched Joe in the ribs before squeezing himself between Alpha and him.

"Whaddup dawg?" Jay said by putting a lot of emphasis on each of the two words. Joe smiled and as he was about to reply he was briefly interrupted by a nudge. Joe turned round and noticed Alpha was pointing towards something in the distance. Joe glanced over and stared at the large thick cloud slowly making it's way towards them. Joe squinted his eyes and was able to make out a small outline. As the outlines got closer, Joe suddenly noticed two shapes. It looked like there were two Pokemon.

As it got closer Joe noticed a set of purple eyes beam out through the fog. Joe couldn't help but take a few steps forward and try and work out who that Pokemon was. The fog was now much thicker and Joe quickly glanced around and noticed a small yellow Pokemon sitting in front of Jay. The shaped looked familiar and within seconds of looking at it Joe finally realized what it was.

"Your quiet lucky Jay finding that Abra" Joe called out towards Jay, however it looked like he was in his own trance. Joe was surprised when he turned around and stood still. The purple eyes were within touching distance.

"Toy," cried the Pokemon. Joe exactly knew what this Pokemon was, he used to own one. It was a Baltoy, also known as the Clay Pokemon. It is said that Baltoy coexisted with humans in ancient times. Joe quickly reached down to his belt and grabbed a small blue ball with dark green webbing surrounding it. He held the Net Ball in his hand and tossed it towards to the ground. A large Green figure appeared before Joe and started to dance around on the spot. Joe chuckled at the dancing Pokemon and then ordered his Ludicolo, "Taco, start this off with Rain Dance, it might help Jay as well. Then use Ice Beam to create an Ice Wall in front of you. It might make a good defense but be careful if it smashes, you could be hurt"

Abra BP#2

"Alright Shadow, stand over here next to me," Cameron called out to his Houndoom, who wholeheartedly followed him in return without any other hesitations. "Great job boy, now it's Powerglide's turn." He took a different Pokeball from his belt and threw it in the air. It revealed the Jubilee Pokemon, Togekiss, happily flying in the air. "Okay, I want you to use Yawn, then hit it with Shadow Ball. That should give us what we need to capture this little guy. To make things easier, I'll use this Calming Fragrance Plus. That should briefly calm it down and give you enough time to hit it with Yawn."

Quickly, he grabbed a Calming Fragrance Plus and sprayed it on the surroundings."Smells like fish." Alpha suddenly covered his nose with his fingers. Apparently, the smell was what makes Pokemon be captured easily. If Alpha was a Pokemon, he'd ran away instead of coming closer to the trainer.

After spraying the fishy scent, Togekiss was ready to execute its moves. It stopped at some point in the air and aimed closely at the Abra. A large black blob was starting to form in front of Togekiss. As the Shadow Ball was getting larger and larger, Togekiss had the time to multitask and opened its mouth widely, releasing pink bubbles that could make Abra drowsy.

The bubbles hit Abra on its nose, yawning gently as it watched Togekiss execute its Shadow Ball at Abra. While it was still half-awake, Abra glared at Togekiss, until a rainbow-colored beam made its way directly at Togekiss, sending it down to the ground a bit.

"That's a strong Abra," Alpha commented.

Togekiss finally released the Shadow Ball at Abra, tossing it to a nearby tree. When Alpha got up from the boulder he was sitting on, he checked to see that Abra was finally snoozing.

Baltoy/Abra BP#1

Jay and Joe quickly came towards Alpha while he was sitting on the boulder. But Alpha couldn't pay attention to the two as they would battle Baltoy and Abra because he ran out to the other sleeping Abra by the tree where Cameron's Togekiss sent it flying.

"Galvantula, come on out!" Alpha could still hear Jay calling his Pokemon out of its ball.

"Taco, start this off with Rain Dance, it might help Jay as well. Then use Ice Beam to create an Ice Wall in front of you. It might make a good defense but be careful if it smashes, you could be hurt." Joe released his Pokemon as well, but quickly managed to follow it up with an additional attack. Joe's Ludicolo suddenly released a beam of water into the air, covering the dark skies with thunderclouds. Suddenly, rain drops began to fall from the sky, thanks to Ludicolo's Rain Dance.

"Thunder Wave and follow up with a Bug Buzz!" Jay started to command his Pokemon as well. Galvantula's body started to release blue sparks and created a large electrical blue ball in front of it, tossing it towards Abra. When Abra was struck with Thunder Wave, blue sparks began to show up on its body as well. It was a shame that Alpha could only hear the noise of their battle and not actually watch and support the two.

While Ludicolo was busy freezing the rain drops to turn it into a frozen shield to hold off their opponent's attacks, Abra's body glowed with a purple aura until a purple sphere covered the four Pokemon fighting, managing to avoid Cameron and his Pokemon along the way. Suddenly, Ludicolo and Galvantula's actions seemed to become a bit slower, while Baltoy and Abra's actions hastened up--Abra must've used Trick Room. Baltoy, on the other hand, spun around in a speedy manner and tossed a bit of mud to the unguarded Galvantula. Now, its body was covered in mud, because of Baltoy's Mud Slap.

"Okay, I'm back." Alpha immediately sat down on the boulder after checking Cameron's Abra if it was asleep or not. Now, he was just about to see the second phase of their moves, but Ludicolo was just about done freezing bits of rain drops that would serve as their primary defense.

Galvantula suddenly made eerie noises from its mouth, sound waves came out from its body and made its way to Abra and Baltoy. Alpha covered his ears because the buzzing sounds irritated him. Ludicolo seemed to be affected by the sound waves that Galvantula emitted as well.

After Galvantula made the eerie noises, Abra created multiple copies of itself, readying to brace for impact on the next wave of atacks that could happen. It's quite amusing that Abra seemed to fight off the paralysis within its body. Baltoy, on the other hand, concentrated deeply on the situation. A black aura shined at Baltoy, with small clusters of stars blinking every now and then.

"Splendid!" I called out when I saw that Powerglide has delivered pefection. She usually preformed well. She was a new addition to my team and we were still getting used to each other. But so far we'd been working out great together. She got hit a little, but it was just a minor scratch, nothing to be too worried about at the moment. If it came to it, all I had to do was have her Roost. For now, however, I was just going to have her attack the Abra again with something that would do a good amount of damage to the point where I could capture it. Seeing the Abra sound asleep there made me feel good and that I had secured the capture. This was a bit too easy and I felt something was bound to happen like usual, but I didn't get my hopes down.

"Alright Powerglide. Now use Silver Wind and hit the Abra again." I whispered, making sure not to wake up the Abra. "We almost got it where we want it." Powergilde flew in circles three times before beginning to create the Silver Wind attack. Once again her blue and red triangles began to glow as she flapped her wings and created a wind with silver cresents-like objects in it were fired at the sleeping Abra. It sort of sparkled as it made its way towards Abra. I quickly pulled out a Parkball and tossed it at the Psi Pokemon so that it would hit just seconds after the Silver Wind did. If everything went well, this was going to be an easy capture. I didn't want to jynx myself, but I was feeling lucky in this run. For once, one of my runs started off great. If I could only just find a Golett and Zorua and this would be the best trip here ever. For now though, I was just going to have to settle for the Abra, at least until what I wanted came by. Right after this capture I was going to leave.

"If this works, I'm leaving the park." I said to my Ranger.

"Taco, start this off with Rain Dance, it might help Jay as well. Then use Ice Beam to create an Ice Wall in front of you. It might make a good defense but be careful if it smashes, you could be hurt."

Taco nodded and focused some of his power to his large light green hands. Taco produced a large water orb and continued to rub his hands over the ball. Then with ease, he launched the orb into the air and it disappeared amongst the clouds. Within seconds the light projected by the sun started to diminish. A large black rain cloud hung over Joe and Jay. The rain started to fall down and trickled down the black jumper of Joe's.

Baltoy on the other hand had other ideas and started to use the rain as an advantage and started to lower it's body into the soft wet mud. It started to rotate it's arms and spun around like a Spinner Top. The spinning Baltoy slipped and skidded and started to produce a thick mud substance flying towards Taco. The mud splattered all of Taco and did a bit of damage. It stopped spinning and returned to the original position of hovering over the ground.

Taco looked a bit angry and now was cautious. He opened his mouth and produced a thin white beam in front of him. The white beam collided with the sloppy ground and created an ice cold barrier. Joe hoped that this would reduce the power of all attacks coming at him, however the down point was that ice could shatter leaving Taco worst off.

Down on the opposite end of the field, Baltoy suddenly started shine like the stars in the night sky. Joe suddenly realized what move this was and started to become a bit anxious. The move Cosmic Power, increased the Special Defense and Defense of a Pokemon, a move not to be taken light heartily.

Joe was now faced with a difficult problem. During Jay's battle Abra used the move Trick Room which meant slower Pokemon move before quicker Pokemon. It didn't help when Ludicolo's ability is Swift Swim which doubles speed in the rain. Also the fact that Baltoy had a higher special defense. Joe looked up and put the thoughts behind and ordered his Pokemon

"Taco, use Ice Ball. A mix of Ice Beam and Energy Ball. Fire an Energy Ball towards Baltoy however fire an Ice Beam to surround the ball, more like a coat. Then be prepared for anything to strike."

Taco, Joe's Ludicolo started off by doing an ancient dancing style in order to try and produce rainy weather. Ass odd as it sounded, it was oddly effective and within seconds dark thick clouds came into view and within seconds rain was pouring over the four battling Pokemon. Afterwards, Ludicolo began to shoot out a thin beam of ice at the mucky ground below-- presumably a rather weak Ice Beam attack. I was wondering what the point of it was until I saw Joe's plan start to come together. The cool ice started to freeze the slushy muck and create a temporary barrier.

Galvantula began to make high-pitched squeaks and I realised then how impractical that was. Everyone was forced to cover their ears to take the ringing noise, and what's even more unfortunate was that it hit Ludicolo aswell.

In the meantime Baltoy had started to take advantage of being mostly ignored and I saw his body start to glow a dark grey colour and I watched as he closed his eyes and focused on his Cosmic Power attack. As I watched the ancient Pokemon even seemed to broaden out a little and I knew the attack was working. If it was let to setup like this, we could be in big trouble.

"That can't be good," I muttered. Abra started to do some odd hand gestures as the Thunder Wave struck him head on, sending blue sparks shooting all along his odd alien-like body. He started to create a barrier and within seconds I could feel myself slowing down and I knew from previous battles what this was. "Trick Room," I grumbled. Suddenly, an idea hit me. Okay, Spidey. That Baltoy is looking to be rather tricky so use Spider Web to stick it to that rock over there. Then, it Abra with a boosted Electro Ball. It should be really powerful thanks to the much faster Abra in Trick Room," I said with a sly smile.

Galvantula gave me a nod to show that he agreed with me and he raised his two forelegs and brought them close together. They moved back and forth rapidly, given the impression of a knitting spider. Within just a few seconds I could see the net forming and I nodded to show it was the best time to fire at the pre-occupied Ground type Pokemon. After he hurled the sticky net at Baltoy, I could see him began to make a small ball of cackling blue electricity from his anntenae. The sphere slowly began to increase in size until it was at quite a large size, then, without warning, it shot towards Abra at a dangerously fast speed. Trick Room only helped speed up the attack.

Abra BP#3

"Alright Powerglide. Now use Silver Wind and hit the Abra again. We almost got it where we want it." Cameron watched his Togekiss closely perform its attacks.

Rising above the ground, it looked at Abra and readied itself to flap its wings strong enough to create powerful gusts covered with silver sparks of light. When it began to flap its wings, crescent-shaped silver pieces of gust made its way swiftly towards Abra, creating a small dust cloud that covered Abra in its sleep.

"Well that was fun now was it?" Alpha said while watching the other battle in front of him--Cameron and his Abra was behind Alpha.

Defenseless, the yellow Psi Pokemon slept peacefully, making itself vulnerable to attacks.

"Okay Powerglide, use Shadow Ball now." I called out. "I'm going to throw this Parkball at it. This should be all we need." I reached into my bag and pulled out a green and brown Parkball. It wasn't the strongest Pokeball the Park had to offer, but it was more than enough to do the job I needed here.

Powerglide circled the Abra twice. After she found a good stop to strike, she began charging a ball of black energy. The ball grew bigger and bigger each second. I could see sparks of electricty come off the ball. When it was about the size of a volleyball, she launched it at the sleeping Psi Pokemon. As soon as the attack was going to hit, I threw my Parkball at the Abra. I watched the ball soar across the field, just seconds behind the Shadow Ball.

All of these were in a rush. One second, I received a call from Headquarters that a replacement was urgently required at Meteor Valley, and the next moment, I had already gotten to this area. Apparently, the ranger had something important cropped up last minute, and the trainers were in the middle of a battle. Still, I hoped I didn't miss anything though. After all, battles were my favorite part of the Park.

Once I reached the battle field, I had noticed that it was a double tag battle. The trainers I was in charged of owned the Ludicolo and Galvantula, while the Pokemon that were opposite of them were most probably the wild Pokemon. There was an Abra, which had managed to duplicate several copies of itself across field, made possible by the usage of Double Team, although it seemed to be quite uncomfortable with occasional electrical surges through its body. Beside it, was a Baltoy, whom had glitters and stars sparkling around it, as well as a thin veiled layer of protective surface slowly enveloping it. I recognized that defensive move as Cosmic Power.

I looked at the trainer on the right whom seemed lost, and conflicted in thoughts. After a while, he raised his head back up and gave his commands to his Pokemon. "Taco, use Ice Ball. A mix of Ice Beam and Energy Ball. Fire an Energy Ball towards Baltoy however fire an Ice Beam to surround the ball, more like a coat. Then be prepared for anything to strike," he said.

From the nickname of the Pokemon, I had recognized the trainer as Joe, the trainer that owns the Ludicolo, nicknamed Taco. From my experieces, I knew Ice Ball was a legit move, being a specialty of the Walrein family. The attack was basically a ball of ice, but each consecutive time it is used, the ball grows bigger, and thus stronger as well. Joe was probably trying an alternative version of Ice Ball, since Ludicolo can't learn it, but by using Ice Beam and Energy Ball instead, it was a replicate attack.

At the same time, the trainer on Joe's left started to voice out his command as well. "Okay, Spidey. That Baltoy is looking to be rather tricky so use Spider Web to stick it to that rock over there. Then, hit Abra with a boosted Electro Ball. It should be really powerful thanks to the much faster Abra in Trick Room," Jay said, while smiling deviously.

From my perspective, it was quite a good combination between the two trainers. By using Spider Web, it would be able to render Baltoy immobile, while getting hit by the Ice Ball. This is all possible because of the twisted dimensions from the effects of Trick Room. However ... they needed to remember that Abra and Baltoy were naturally slower than their Pokemon and thus, are now faster during the effects of Trick Room.

I continued to watch, as Ludicolo almost fired its attack first but was suddenly slowed down instead. The image of the movement was almost indescribable; it seemed as if Ludicolo was being restrained at the very last moment. During the gap of time, Abra suddenly moved ahead of time and managed to strike first. I watched carefully as it made its attack, but just as it was giving off a glow of flash, it was suddenly stopped short by the sudden electrocution from the paralysis. However, that was not the end of it. Abra's clones put themselves to work, as they carried out their owner's attack, all of them disappearing into invisible particles all of a sudden. It was Teleport.

As the Abra clones continue to vanish and appear at various positions of the battle field randomly, Baltoy started to speed towards the Ludicolo and Galvantula at an amazing speed. Due to the distance to reach them though, it seemed to have allowed the electric spider to perform its attack and it quickly shot out a sticky substance from its mouth. The attack was similar to that of a String Shot, except that once it was exposed into the air, it exploded into a huge web instead and was flung towards the incoming Baltoy. At this moment however, just as Baltoy was about to be captured by the Spider Web, a teleporting clone suddenly appeared in front of Baltoy and vanished along with Baltoy. The Spider Web missed its target and was flung onto a nearby rock instead.

The Abra clones and Baltoy were completely in synchronization now, as they zapped around the battle field at invincible speed, while heading towards the Ludicolo. Just as its trainer commanded, the Ludicolo quickly got to work by trying to aim an Energy Ball at its target. I assumed the move after that was an Ice Beam, so that it would propel the Energy Ball even further, while freezing it in the process, thus creating Ice Ball. However, Ludicolo seemed to hesitate for a long while. It was completely unable to mark its target down. As it continued to hesitate, the Baltoy had already teleported ahead of them and started to spin its body all of a sudden. From the spinning, a thick purple stream of liquid starts to spill out from Baltoy itself and they were splattered onto both the Ludicolo and Galvantula instead. Once the Toxic attack touched the skin of those two Pokemon, the liquid dissolved into their body immediately as they started to flinch from the sudden pain of being badly poisoned.

Baltoy didn't stop spinning though. It continued to spiral itself, and this time, a magenta psychic wave was released instead. The waves blasted themselves towards the trainer's Pokemon, whom were too shocked to move. However, upon noticing closer, the attack didn't seem to do any damage. Though, they now had a thin veiled layer of surface that coated their body. I wasn't quite sure what that attack was, but judging from Baltoy's attack pattern so far, there was a good chance that it had just used Heal Block.

It teleported away with the help of the Abra clones, but Galvantula was already onto its next attack. The electric spider formed a small ball of yellow electricity that cackled nonstop, and fired it towards the Abra without any warning. Abra on the other hand, was like a sitting duck, because it was still trying to regain its composure from the paralysis earlier. As the attack blasted its way through the field at an astonishing speed, probably heightened by the properties of Electro Ball itself and Trick Room, a decoy appeared suddenly and took the hit for the original Abra. Once the attack connected, the decoy was obliterated completely. Abra struggled to get up, but it seemed to had a bigger difficulty to even move now. Although the decoy had managed to appear in time to cushion the hit for the original Abra, the Electro Ball still seemed to have hit Abra partially, smashing it on its knees, as they were visibly badly bruised now. At the very same time, the teleporting figures of Abra seemed to move slower, while crouching down lower at the same time, grabbing onto their knee with their forehands in pain.

In order to regain control of the battle, they would have to find a way to fight off or withstand the effects of Toxic, while also getting rid of Abra's Double Team at the same time. I had really hoped they had some kind of strategy in mind.
