Thread: Urban Rivals

After getting over the initial shock of seeing monster suddenly pop from a hole, Tailisu acted quickly. He drew a big iron ball to try to prevent more Ferals from coming him, it would be hard to maintain but so was his life at the moment. After blocking the hole, he then tried to run away from the Ferals that had escaped from the hole.

But Dawn saw the ball get shoved out of the way as even more Ferals appeared. She started firing arrows at full speed.

Nero ran as he was pursued by even more of the creatures, turning on his heel to send a blast of fire that razed through them. It served as little more than a momentary distraction, allowing for more of the beasts to spew from the flames; roaring. "Ah!"

Jumping out of the way of another slash, Nero spun in midair to a stop; spinning to unleash a torrent of flames at another creature. As one advanced on him, he had to resort to martial arts. Standing to his feet, he blocked a punch coming from one of them, sending a fire-encoated fist careening into its maw. It was worlds weaker than his blasts, and allowed the creature enough time to send a retaliation strike against the boy, flailing him hard enough to spin him around. Another one leaped over the Feral's back, slashing down on him

Nero let out a brief yell, falling to his knees as blood poured from the open wound on his back.

"Wow... he's getting fucked up over there, huh?" one of the hooded figures commented.

Dawn mad ea mad dash to where Nero was after killing the other Ferals.

"Nero!!! You okay down there?!" yelled Dawn.

Asilla continued to zap Ferals with lightning bolts.

After gaining sufficient distance from the Ferals, Tailisu stopped running. Turning around, he sighted when the big iron ball barely did anything to obstruct the feral's progress while he dematerialized the object. He saw Dawn firing arrows at the ferals and to aid her he sent several rolling balls of spikes at the creatures.

Suddenly the Archer went running away somewhere. The boy ran also following, they probably wouldn't be able to take on all of them anyways. But he isn't exactly fit physically so he can't keep running forever.

Struggling to get up, Nero found himself wincing in pain. The creature seemed to just... stand there.

It could've killed him anytime soon... so, Nero wouldn't give it the chance. "Hah!" turning to get on one knee, he thrusted a hand upward, sending a stream of fire that destroyed the upper portion of its body. He was angry, bleeding, and on super high-alert.

Unfortunately, he had nothing to take it out on. The Ferals were decimated, small fires all about the rooftop. Nero stood, his arms draping as he glared forward. The wound was deep, and bleeding profusely. A little more, and he'd probably pass out from blood loss.

'Or worse...'

"Well then, kid. You're more resilient than we thought!" the male voice stated. He seemed a bit cheerful at the enigmatic boy's victory. "I guess you've got a strong chin under than mask."

The girl's voice sounded out. "I wonder what he looks without it~" her figure began walking forward. Though their faces were obscured, he knew it was the girl talking. She began advancing on him, causing Nero to strengthen his stance.

That's when he heard Dawn's voice. "Dawn...?!"

The man turned his head to the taller figure, who'd been quiet throughout the entire affair. "I'll handle the stragglers, kay?"

The figure only nodded, the shorter one disappearing in a small distortion.

Appearing behind Tailisu, he whistled. "Hey kid, over here!"

Lucy suddenly saw Nero's condition. "Quit focusing on combat!" She exclaimed. "Go help him!"
Sarah jumped up and ran over to Nero. She sat down next to him and began slowly helping the healing process of his wounds.

While running towards Dawn and Nero, Tailisu heard a voice behind him. He turned his head and saw that it was an mysterious figure in a black coat. Whoever he never stopped running until he reached the group, he noticed that Nero was injured. Suspicious, the boy turned to face the mysterious figure. "Who are you?" He asked.

Dawn hopped down from the area she was on. "Yup. Oh my.... you're dying." she said. Asilla then ran out of the doorway. "Nero, hang on!" said Asilla as she shot a small, pink, healing energy orb from the staff. Dawn smiled. "Asilla..... You like him, don't you?" she said as Asilla's jaw dropped.

(Sarah was already healing him...)

Lucy continued to stab ferals while Sarah went on healing Nero.

OOC: She'll need backup.

"Sucks to be you." Virgil said to Nero as he heard Dawn speak. His fist turned to metal, and he punched a hole through one of the Feral.

Dawn fainted.

So did Asilla, but from Dawn's finding out.

While Dawn was asleep, Virgil stole her hat. He also stepped on Asilla when he slashed at another feral, his fingers now turned into knives.

Dawn got up and loomed over Virgil. "Gimme my dang hat now or you will be shocked." she said.
