Thread: Pokemon League - Indigo conference *The Start up*

Jett was about to walk off when he heard a voice saying "Ri Ri Ri."

"Sorry Aurora, almost forgot about you" Jett said apologetically to the infant Riolu. Aurora responded by jumping onto Jett's shoulder.

"I'll see you in the third match" Jett said as he walked off towards the Stadium.

Reese headed for the field for his battle

"Hmm.. Looks like that must be Reese. I guess I better get goin." Justin says as he starts to walk over to him.

reese called to justin "send out your first pokemon already. i wanna get this over wtth"

"Um.. Don't we need to see what our battlefield is going to be first?" Justin said confused and looking around for officials to get the match started.

(Um.. That is what we are supposed to do right? I kinda need to know where we are to make use of the field.)

(OOC: well i posted him going to the field. plus, he's impatient)

"Well, looks like were gonna have to just start without em'!"
*Justin looks at his pokeballs attached to his belt grabs the middle one and throws it out to the field*

"I choose Gengar!"

"arcanine, beat down this pathetic loser's genger with heat wave" reese ordered as he released his arcanine

Jett sat down in a seat and watched the battle about to unfold. He then pulled a laptop from his backpack and started to research his own opponent.

Aurora, still sitting on his shoulder, watched the battle with interest.

"Okay Gengar, you can take a little heat. Use confuse ray on it!"
Justin orders as Gengar moves back to get less effect from the heat wave and uses Confuse Ray on Arcanine.

"use extremespeed to dodge and get behind him, then flamethrower!"


(OOC: you can decide whether the dodge is succesful)

"Protect yourself from that Flamethrower, then use Confuse Ray once more!"

Gengar uses protect, then blasts a Confuse Ray directly towards Arcanine.

Jake sat down next to Jett. "Pretty cool, right?"

Jett shrugged as he let his pokemon out to watch the battle. In a flash of light, Storm (His Luxray), Blaze (his Infernape), and Gaia (his Garchomp) appeared next to him.

"They both use a fairly predicable battle style, with moves one would expect from the pokemon in question.By the way, I'm Jett" he said as he looked at the data on his opponent on his laptop.

"My name is Jake Shadows, and as you can tell, I am a Knight of the Round Table.... not really. Meet Lancelot, Gawain, and Percivale!" Jake pointed to his Lucario, Gliscor, and Swampert.
