As Cogs continues swearing like a mule (none taken), lucky brings both hooves down on the creatures noggin as Kitsune begins sucking away at its energy. Finally the east collapses, shrinking back down to a very unconscious Earth pony.
"By the power of swears, we won! Needless to say, you guys did all the real work." Cogs inspected the mare. "That was a werewolf, or wolf pony, whichever you prefer. What it was doing here, I don't know, but we need to secure it before it regains strenght and kicks our flanks."
"Gentlemen? I have officialy claimed zee Spy from Team Fortress 2. What? I do believe I am on- Merde! Fire, Fire FIRE!"
"M Mmmmmph mph Mpho mph mmmn mphmm mph mmphmm."
((I claimed the Pyro from Team Fortress 2 also.))

"I did nothing but get my flank kicked." Kitsune lied. "Lucky did all the work. I'm utterly useless."
(Remember, Kitsune keeps his ability secret, especially from the closest things he has to friends.)
That fight was intense; I'm still catching my breath from it. I'm surprised I didn't get hit. "Thanks for the compliment, but I was kinda just doing my job. Did either of you get hit too hard?" I then point towards the unconscious mare-wolf. "And if she can change her size and shape like that, do we even have anything that could hold her?"
((Panting sound effects omitted for legibility. Also the party tank appears to actually be a rogue if my dodge and DPS have anything to say about it.))
((Lol, yeah. I'm not quite sure what happened there, but you were certainly living up to your name! You should be wearing a "Rolling Twenties" T-shirt! ))
Cogs searches around until he finds a few vines that aren't too rotten, tying up the wolf pony so she couldn't move when she woke up - in this form, at least. Lucky quickly reminded him that should the mare revert to her beast form it could easily snap the bonds.
"Well, we need Gold. Wolfponies are allergic to the stuff. It doesn't have to be much- only something like a nugget, a clock, a sprinkle- and we need to tie it to her or something."
OOC- Refering to old legends that wolfmen could only be killed by a Golden Bullet.

"Really? I thought it was silver. ...'Sune, mind checking that book of yours to see if it got updated? Or do you have a spell to request updates, or something? 'Cause if it's got something on wolfponies that'd be really helpful."
Kitsune flips through the Explorer's Journal. Finding not only updates on the team's current status, but also an addition to the book in the form of the Bestiary section.
Explorer's Journal:

Team Leadership
Alright, before you rocket off to the mission site, you'll need to choose a team leader. It may sound awful fancy, but it's hard work. Trust me, I am one! Normally it's the highest ranked team member by default, but you three joined up together and you all have equal explorer points, so you'll have to work it out yoursleves. I'd give a recommendation, but you'd all do great - Lucky's infinite optimism, good old Cogs is inventive equuinified, and Kitsune keeps a nice level head in tight fixes. The leader gets the final say on loot distribution, the deciding vote on what to do when you reach a fork or an odd mechanism that could open a door or spray you full of arrows, and all that good stuff, but he's also gotta prevent the team from getting themselves killed and most likely to lose points should something go catastrophically wrong. Choose well!
