Thread: MLP: Perquisition is Magic (Mission 0)

I wait for a bit, nervously, before realizing that everypony's probably waiting for me to do something. "Oh!...uh...we should probably head for the manor, right? Unless you guys think we should check out some of those buildings out in the orchard?"

((I had to go back and reread the topic to realize that no, we were not in fact told to head directly for the mansion, and yes, this does mean I have to do leadership stuff. Good thing Lucky is 1/3 Derpy expy.))

"You're the leader." Kitsune said.

One of my front hooves scrapes the ground nervously. "Well, I just...kinda figured that maybe you guys might notice something I didn't? I mean, I'm pretty sure you guys know more history and stuff than I do, and this is a pretty old place? But if not, we can just go to the mansion right away in fact let's go do that now."

I hope they don't notice how embarrassed I am.

Cogs bent over, examining the floor. He then looked up. "Nothing to report out of the order, boss. Shall we?"

((Not sure what Cogs is trying to do here. DM hasn't described the mansion yet, so we can't do anything in there; and we were outside before that, and the outdoors has ground, not a floor.))

OOC- The floor as in the ground. Dirt, strange plants, etcetera- nothing odd outside at all. He's like that, don't worry.

"Right. Okay. Nothing out here, obviously, let's go to the mansion!" I try not to look like I'm doing anything other than walking there.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa I'm so bad at thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis but we haven't really done anything yet so as long as I pay attention to what I'm doing we should still be okay!

Cogs shrugged, and followed.

Kitsune followed the leader. She seemed to be acting a little strange, but, then again, they were all strange.

The intrepid party signs to climb the hill, heading straight for the manor. As they reach the halfway point, however, a huge mass of tangled branches, dead leaves, and wood looms above them. The mass of fallen wood gives a creak as a chartreuse mane pops up above the wreckage. Slowly a mare's head becomes visible, as she struggles to climb the tangle. "Oh, thank goodness! I didn't think anypony would come! I was pulling a carriage and got stranded here when lightning struck the trees and felled them. Could you please go around the back of the hill and help me get out of here? Oh, but be careful in the orchard! I hear beasts have taken up residence in the trees!"

"A Pleasure, Miss..? And what beasts?"

"If they're the really dangerous kind, it might be a better idea for me to fly up and try to pull you out from this side." I flap a wing for emphasis.

"Erm, I wouldn't do that if I were you. Lots of protrusive pokey branches sticking out. Wouldn't want anypony to get... hurt."

"Don't worry ma'am! We're used to that kind of stuff."

I'm not sure I like the way she paused in that sentence...But, it's only suspicious, it's still quite possible that she's honestly in trouble. "Yep yep! I flew into trees all the time when I was a filly! I'm sure I'd be able to pull you out without hurting either of us."
