Thread: The Hunger Games [Non-Pokemon RP]

OOC: I still think that six hours is a bit much, especially given that the cornucopia forms a whole square. Also, can we assume that the two from Four are with the Careers?

Max set snares around the area of the Cornucopia where he thought the prey would be. Snares were one of his main talents.

((The only other PC Careers are Boy One and Girl Four, and they skeddaddled. But I guess we can assume their DPs are with us.))

Nessa readied her knives. "Hey Max, shouldn't we be setting-up supplies before we hunt? 'Sides, separating right after the bloodbath seems a little iffy." She was smart. She wanted to have a strategy, a plan. That was the cause of her hesitation. She dared anyone to try to call Nessarose Eyers a coward.

((Stating now that Ness will probably be the brain of the pack.))

OOC: OK, do what you want.

Max looked up from his work.

"Most of the tributes went off without supplies. The bad ones will just come back here. If I can snare one we can at least wound them if not kill them off. Also, the GameMakers might swoop in at any moment and destroy the supplies and I want to have some food left" He had to admit though, Ness did have a point, with so many tributes about it might be smarter just to divide the supplies first.

"Maybe we should wait a little 'fore we hunt." Nessa climbed to the top of the Cornucopia to try to look-around, "Go as a pack. Strength in numbers, y'know, that kinda thing."

Jakob peeked longingly at the Cornucopia. No, he thought. No, no, no. I can't. There'll be traps. Now move. He willed himself to walk away from the Cornucopia. Eventually he just couldn't bring himself to go any further. He sat down in a clearing, with a hunch there was water nearby.

OOC: M-13.

"OK, sure, but I'd feel safer if we just ddid a circuit around the Cornucopia, just to make sure that no-one's hiding," Max said to Nessa.

Nessa jumped off the Cornucopia with a mid-air flip, and landed beside him. "Good idea."

"One and Four, come with me. We're going to secure a perimeter around here to make sure no-one's hiding!" Max yelled. Although he was giving the game away to anyone hiding he prefered it that way. Better to scare off the threat than risk the lives of their already diminished force.

Nessa had one of her knives in her hand, ready for a fight, should one occur.

ooc: ok, Blaze look, I've lowered it to six ok? It's going to be a little pathetic if you can manage to travel across the whole thing in like three days, also it makes it harder for people to find each other, hopefully meaning the thing will last longer. Sorry for the late reply, but I really put a lot of effort into this, and I thought it had kind of just died, which I was fine with, and then when it's finally revived again you just start criticising what I've done. You can assume that the careers are with you if you want, just people are free to kill them without them putting up much of a fight if they want.

Nessa started walking towards the woods.

OOC: Sure, fine. I'll live, I guess (unless Nessa kills me)

Max thought that he saw some movement.

"Is that a tribute?" he hissed at Nessa.

She froze, watching warily.
