Thread: Bounty Hunters (Start Up)

OOC: Read the note Jakku wrote to Klay he's pretty much saying he won't join until its decide which team will be established.

"All right then I guess that works too," Klay nodded his head.

"Alright, I'm Evan Nates, video game wizard." Evan says, holding out his hand.

OOC: I know, I interpreted it as him saying he'd be willing to defect.

"I'm Klay martial artists, and swordsman," Klay nodded his head as he shook Evan's hand with his gloved right hand.

"Alright, anyway, you should join." Evan says, then turns to Klay. "So we have some kind of base?" He asks in a hushed tone.

"A base costs money which we don't have yet, but I found a place that could work," Klay nodded his head while putting his hand in his pockets then hearing the bell ring. "But that's for after class."

"Very well, then." Evan says, and walks to class.

Tia was already in class along with other early-bird classmates, she making a pencil spin in the air out of boredom.

Evan, meanwhile, was reading a video game instruction manual. But an evil one, with pictures of naked women, swear words, and dead people's names in it, all written in the blood of virgins. It was for Superman 64.
"What is this I don't even" He says, stashing it so the teacher wouldn't see him perusing an evil tome of eldritch lore.

Jakku sat in a tree.
He'd managed to evade the authorities, so now was trying to enter the school quietly.
He threw a rappel, sliding along the line, and into one of the school's air vents.
Quietly, he dropped into his seat, took off his trenchcoat, and boredly opened an issue of Shonen Jump.

"So nice of you to drop in." Tia said nonchalantly to Jakku, still spinning the pencil in the air, she right next to his seat.

"Apologies. It appears the Authorities have recently gotten better at tracking me."
Jakku reached up, nonchalantly showing his sleeve, which had a still smoking bullethole, narrowly missing his arm.
"Still better than that job with the sentry guns, however."

"All right class starting today we will have a new student," the teacher spoke, with Klay standing next to him and looking over the class.

"My name is Klay and it's really nice to meet you," Klay waved while smiling.

"All right, are there any empty seats were Klay can sit in?" the teacher asked while looking for a seat.

"There's one here. By me and Tia."
Jakku waved boredly, then continued reading Shonen Jump.
There was an empty seat on his right.
Jakku wondered where the previous occupant had gone, before realising he'd actually arrested them the previous week.

Klay nodded his head as he walked over and sat down, he felt uncomfortable sitting in the chair since he had never actually been to a real school before. "It's...smaller than I thought."

Jakku now had a kunai out, balanced on his finger, still reading his magazine with the other hand.
"What, the school, or the desks?"
Jakku smiled, and nodded to his own legs, banging against the bottom of the desktop frequently.
