Thread: Bounty Hunters (Start Up)

"See?" Evan says, watching Jakku run by. "That guy looks totally badass. Hey, bro." He says, turning to Jakku. "Like your moves, you should totally join my team."

Jakku opened both of his eyes.
Aside from one instance, he'd done the entire sequence blind.
"Hm?"
He walked over, hands in his trenchcoat.
A difficult-to-be-possible amount of weaponry clinked inside his trenchcoat as he strode over.
"Depends. What kinda missions are we doing, and how much of a split do I get?"

"Fighting evil." Evan says. "You'll probably get about 50% now. If we get more people, the percentage will drop, but we'll be able to charge more, and the jobs will probably get easier, so it evens out. You in?"

"...Fine. I don't work well in a team, but I'll try for the greenbacks."
Jakku said boredly.
He took out a kunai, spat on it, and began cleaning it with his sleeve.

"So you're a ninja?" Evan asks. "So that means we have a wizard, a shinobi, and a psychic...If nothing else, we're an equal oppurtunity employer."

"I prefer the term 'Non-ninjaly challenged'."
Jakku stuck his tongue out, and returned the kunai to his coat.
"Besides, does it matter, so long as we get the job done?"

"Of course! Civil rights ate always important." Evan says, heading to class.

"Why don't you guys just join mine," Klay pointed out to Evan and Jakku. "It'll be the same thing."

Klaus then overheard what he had at first dismissed as conversational banter, but then some key words began to show up. Bounty Hunter. Guild. He decided he may as well figure out what this was all about. He walked over to the small group, and approached who he supposed was the more important figure of the group, someone with a long coat and what appeared to be two swords strapped to his back.

"I think I overheard something about Bounty Hunters," he said to Klay. "D'you mind specifying?"

Klaus then overheard what he had at first dismissed as conversational banter, but then some key words began to show up. Bounty Hunter. Guild. He decided he may as well figure out what this was all about. He walked over to the small group, and approached who he supposed was the more important figure of the group, someone with a long coat and what appeared to be two swords strapped to his back.

"I think I overheard something about Bounty Hunters," he said to Klay. "D'you mind specifying?"

Jakku turned his head, to answer the question, before noticing some uniformed men running into the street.
"I'd love to chat, but..."
He threw a smoke bomb, and ran like hell, bullets flying round his head.
He left a post-it note on Klay's head.
It just had a number, and a brief note.
Call me when you've all decided to become a Guild. I may have to stay in hiding today.

"I'm planning to start a Bounty Hunter Guild," Klay turned to Kleus. "It's easy, a bunch of strong people in a group that do different dangerous jobs, and we get paid for them."

"I already have one. It's twice as big as yours." Evan says. "But I like you. What say you, instead of me becoming a member of yours, we have a business partnership instead?"

OOC: He doesn't have one, otherwise he wouldn't be looking for members

OOC: If you're talking about Evan's, Jakku just joined. Since Klay's has only him, and Evan's only has him and Jakku, that means Evan's team is twice as large as Klay's. If you're talking about Klay's, Evan's well aware of that, he's just humoring him.
