Thread: Academy of War(signups still open!)

Jakku's radio crackled into life:

"I am Udwin Balissia II, hear to duke Reynolds Balissia IV, and your doom! You might have shot down everyone else, but I actually know how to fly, and without some major repairs that ship your flying is just a piece of junk! Now let me show you how it's done."

Saying that, Udwin dived at Jakku, fired a couple of shots into his aft engine, and soared off.

"GAH!"
Jakku slid over as the ship rolled.
He grabbed the mike.
"I'm not done yet!"
The engine on fire, Jakku turned the other engine off to compensate, activating the boosters with the freed power.
Unfortunately, in this time, the ship had flipped again.
"Damn you! Come back here!"
Jakku opened the flaps and began firing heavily.

Red paint splattered over Udwins ship as the powerful gatling gun roared into life.

"Yes!" Jakku exclaimed as Udwin was forced to land. Then to his suprise, he heard a CRACK, then the sound of something landing and breaking, and his ship suddenly started spinning. Looking back while trying to bring his ship under control, he saw that his gatling gun had fallen off and smashed it's self up.

"Shit"

Fortunetly, he managed to land without demolishing his ship, but when Allen came back with his arm in a sling, everyone was marching around.

OOC: If you could be a little more specific, that would be nice. I'm not entirely sure what to quit. If you want me to stop narrating what happens to your character, I can do that.

OOC: I want you to stop godmodding my char, you know, making him talk and do stuff without me. It's against the rules!

Anyways, I can see how that would be annoying and I'll stop. Sorry for doing it. My past RPing backround is mainly DND, and the DM is expected to take charge in that. I'll stop now.

OOC: It says no Godmodding...

OOC: Could you post a link? I seriously cannot find that rule. (I'm sure it exists, but if I'm missing it, I'm worried what other rules I'm missing.)

Tyler took cover during the strafing run peaking up at the sky during the last few moments before daying "That kid has some balls dog-fighting like that"

OCC: I'm both happy and unhappy about the Wermech using German but I almost thought that was going to be the case just by there name

"What the hell happened here! I come back from the infirmary to find that my students have been strafing one another! Who's responsible for this" Allen bellows.

"Whoever I just shot at, Sir!"
Jakku saluted, goggles over his eyes.

Allen turns to Udwin and the rest of the nobles. "Ok you screw ups! Clean up this mess." he says gesturing to the red paint splattered everywhere and the bullet casings lying around "and gather up that gun lying in a heap over there. I'll fix it later."

Udwin protests. "But sir! You never said not to strafe them? We were supposed to fight, and none of them got in the air!"

"Them? Whose them? I saw at least three ships who had take off from the window of the infirmary, so there must have been some people up there, right?" Allen asks.

"Yes, sir. But they were all nobles. We were supposed to use the commoners for target practice, right?"

SLAP

Udwin falls over after Allen backhands him. "Listen here bastard. They are your allies, not living targets!"

Udwin stares at Allen in horror. "You, you hit me!"

"Damn right I hit you. And I'll do it again if you ever say something that stupid. Now get to work."

Allen turns to Jakku. "Sorry about your gun. I'll fix it later."

"It's alright. I'd prefer to do it now. Let's me watch the nobles work. Plus, I have some paint rounds left if I get bored."
Jakku lifted the Gatling gun onto a winch, and lifted it back up to the nose of his gently-smoking machine.

"Ha ha ha!" Allen starts laughing. "Still, don't go shooting people just because you don't like them, even if you're only using paint rounds. Occasionally, someone accidentally switches the training rounds for live ammo, and that can be a disaster. Also, I wouldn't fire that thing without a cockpit around me, not if I wanted to keep my hearing. I once knew a courier who tried to fire one of those things and blew out his eardrums." Suddenly, Allen grew serious.

"That reminds me, I have stuff that I need to do."

Without saying another word, he turns and walks off toward the docks.
