I certainly would not want to condemn the concept of Journey RPs (though I will unabashedly state that they are typically poorly executed), after all they epitomize the themes that nearly everyone here (by virtue of this being a Pokemon community) appreciates.

You have to appreciate it for what it is: simple. If you aren't into that (as I am finding increasingly I am not), that's perfectly understandable, but you shouldn't condescend to those who are, and attempts to make Journeys into something they inately are not almost universally fail pitifully.
