Yup. Defending the fledgling town from wild Pokemon is pretty much the second thing on the checklist (the first being shelter and food/water).
My interest comes and goes... but I will always return.
I like it.
My only issue, if I'm going to be completely honest, is this: If I personally felt like undertaking something like this, I would probably just hook with someone for Age of Empires online.
But hey, this project could easily surpass that! Look me up if you decide to go through with it, I'm tentatively interested.
I have an interesting idea. An RP that's your typical journey, say, through the Digital World (Digimon) or a new, unsettled region (Pokemon), but everyone has one big flaw (physical or mental disability, etc.). They must learn to help each other and fill the gaps caused by the others' flaws.

I like the idea, Renewal.
Count me in if that starts.
I had an idea in my head for an "A Day in the Life of a Pokemon" RP.
Basically, you take the role of a wild, or captured Pokemon, and RP throughout their adventures and such.
Yes, or no?

...Don't ask me why, @Renewal, but that idea made me instantly think of Minecraft.
@BeastieBayleef The idea's already been done, but the idea of an RP through the Pokemon's perspective rather than the trainer's makes for a nice change in pace. I'd be interested.
@Spooky Aura Hm. The concept sounds nice, but it needs a bit more...I would call it flair, but I'm not sure if that's the right term to use. It just needs more. I understand that you might not have fleshed it out, but it would be prudent to do so.
@Oblivion , that's kind of what I came here for. How exactly can I polish up the concept?

Yup. It was mine. It failed meteorically.

Don't fret about it. It didn't fail meteorically. Matter of fact, unless I'm mistaken, you just might have introduced a new concept that I've never seen during my time here.
As for fleshing out your RP, perhaps you could make the RP not only highlight these fatal flaws, but focus around them, have the plot revolve around them. Have them be the main force driving the RP forwards. I hope any of that made sense, for that's really the only advice I can give at the moment. If I think of anything else, I'll let you know.
@BeastieBayleef It doesn't necessarily have to be a journey RP. That was what Aura's RP was, but any other genre would work.
@Master Mew: Hmm, I see what you're saying. Handicaps could work instead.
@Oblivion: I get it, but the thing there is how. It seems like the the only way to do that is to make the plot silly and slapstick; after all, what villain in their right mind would have a bone to pick with a bunch of disabled kids? It would be more of a person vs. nature sort of thing ideally.
Edit literally seconds after posting: I have Eureka'd! Like the black gear thing in Digimon Adventure 01, but bigger. That way the villain isn't directly out to get them, but his/her/its actions still get in their way.

So, since this section is primarily for undeveloped ideas (or "brainwaves," "eureka moments," etc.), something I've been thinking about that I'm not sure is really feasible, just been on my mind lately, in regards to the Rogues Gallery:
Wouldn't it be great if specific Heroes each had specific "rogues galleries" made up of a small selection of personal Villains? Each Hero could have his/her own "series" in which they successively faced the same familiar string of Villains repeatedly, as in most real-world comic book series.
The reason I say it doesn't immediately appear feasible is because, in its present state, there is nearly a 50/50 ratio of Heroes to Villains in the Rogues Gallery, whereas the above mechanism would require something more along the lines of 20/80.
Is there a way to make such a crazy idea reality?

To be honest, I don't think personal rogues galleries are feasible under the current RG system--except perhaps as an extension of the Arch-Enemy unlockable. Currently, the RPs are simply random match-ups. Like you pointed out, a rogues gallery is a powerful storytelling tool because it's personal, exclusive to the hero. The Arch-Enemy is the only thing that approaches that so far.
Perhaps you could simply drop the limit on Arch-Enemies and rename it, and combine it with the Alliance feature, i.e., Arch-Enemies of the same Hero can team-up at the same half cost?
My interest comes and goes... but I will always return.
