Hmm, it looks and sounds like an interesting enough project :D If you're willing to have someone like me help, I gladly will :D

As for sub-threads.. kinda depends what kind of RP place you want to make it.
You could make subs for each town and route, or you could make it so that people can just start their own storyline and go trough their entire adventure (with other people) in a single thread.

I'd personally go for making a sub-board(or just a thread) for every town and route and having the players post their adventures in said town\route in it.

Doesn't mean the 1-thread-1-storyline is a bad idea though, just throwing a few ideas out here to consider.

Honestly, these kinds of RPs aren't really my forte. But, I have lots of experience with RPing in general, as well as a habit of reporting rule-breaking and answering questions anyone might have. So, even though I probably won't be participating, I can help out with the project, helping to guide newcomers in the right direction, and making sure people follow the rules.

I can also do mapmaking and some minor sprite work, but nothing too fancy. In addition, I can create banners and such for whatever purpose they might serve.

Yeh, on another forum I was on, (TTH3, to be precise, a small forum none of you would know about) there was a very successful RP series I knew that did the whole 1 thread per area, and it works great in action. You just need an OOC post when you move (I.E. OOC: Aaron to Slateport, then in the Slateport thread, OOC: Aaron from Cycling Road)

I'd be an admin but all I've done is run a (small) rp forum and mod two rp sites elsewhere so I'm not really qualified xD

So I'm pretty pleased to even be a GM.
