Futuristic Fantasy RPG
So I love fantasy RPGs but most take place in fictional lands stuck in the Middle Ages. So I was thinking for a fantasy RPG that took place in a fictional land with futuristic/Sci-Fi like technology. I think it would be interesting to combine Magic and advanced Technology.
I guess a good examples of what I have in mind would probably Videogames like Final Fantasy Xll and the series of fighter games Blazblue.
I'm posting this to see interest and to get plot ideas.

Re: Futuristic Fantasy RPG
Personally, High Fantasy (w/ magic, elves, etc.) and Sci-Fi futuristic tech are mutually exclusive for me. Having both mind-blowing magic and improbable tech in the same story completely shatters what little suspension of disbelief I have left.
I'm sure there's an audience for it, but it runs the risk of feeling very overblown very quickly - and generally such plots attract high concentrations of munchkins.

I'm hoping that it could be something like Steampunk

I'm trying to set in a way where Magic and Science don't clash and become mass chaos, but to fuse and sorta create something rather fun and interesting.

I think that's pretty cool. Chrino Cross and Final Fantasy did it well.
