OOC: Hmm, fine by me then. I'll just wait for Polkadot Jolteon then, see what he thinks about it.
OOC: Great news, That Guy ! I finally got a message back from Polkadot Jolteon, and he seems to support the idea, so what do we do from here? Do we continue the current story or make a new one?
((If it were up to me, I'd continue the story (more or less), obviously with sole focus on our characters, but maybe in a separate thread. That way, everything's more organised, and if the others spontaneously decide to come back, their thread is still here. But that's just me.))
If I may pitch in, that may result in some complicated backstory for our characters should the others decide to return.
This is assuming they do return, however, so it's as good an idea as any.
Do we have any ideas for a plot we could follow? If not, I'm generally quite good at that sort of thing.
Well, from my experience with past RPs, things like this-- that is, journey RPs-- tend to go better without a single, defined, preset goal, but rather, we just make stuff up-- even if it's extensive canon-- on the fly. It's worked for me in about eight or ten RPs in the past.
Making stuff up, huh...?
Hmm, that does seem like a good idea, we can either make our own story up or continue the plot. However, I do agree on making a separate (private) thread for this, since it would be better for organization purposes, plus if they did come back they would not be upset with us for stealing their thread.
Quite. It's probably obvious at this stage, but I'd advise taking the current plot as a starting point, and using it as a basis to come back to when devising our own plot points and whatnot. Of course, if we play it right, the current plot may just end up being a single story arc of several. Perhaps even many. But perhaps I'm dreaming too big here.
If we all stick at it, there's no reason why it couldn't work.
As a side note, where do we put this other thread? We could just keep it in this section, or put it under PRPs or something, but I'm not sure which'd be more convenient.
Does it matter? I'm fine with whatever works, as long as I don't have to post first.
We may as well post it here, but it'll need to be marked as closed. @OfficerMarowak; Do you want to post it, or shall I?
Uhh... I guess you should post it @Polkadot Jolteon.

Ah! Hi, I am alive. My computer just had a three-day-long "episode" where it thought that the internet router connection was a virus.
Anyway, I'll post the thing now.
