Daniel saw a man burst out of a house

"the hell?" daniel rubed his eyes and the man was gone,did it go to the sandwhich shop?

Daniel disregarded this and kept going down the street

he looked at the house and heard a grunt
Daniel raised the crowbar

"Alright, let's see!" Sigint shouted excitedly."I'll take chips, bread, pizza, sandwiches, and some coffee and coke. Seems like I can only carry that much"
Sigint sighed. He haven't seen a single human so far."It can't be.There must be someone else!"

nothing came out of the house
"must have been an hallucanation" he told himself
he stuck the crowbar in his belt and rubed the back of his head
he looked to his side and saw a man holding a a bunch a food and a bag of chips in his mouth
they both just stood there

Al got up, and approached the figure. He tapped it on the shoulder, at which point it turned around, and lunged for his neck. He grabbed it by the lower jaw, kicked it back, and pointed his gun at its head. He pulled the trigger, and it fell to the floor. He froze again, not moving, barely breathing, listening for other zombies. He could hear fain moans coming from outside, and at least on upstairs. He grabbed his bags, and went out the door, heading south.

"Hey there.You're...you're not a zombie?"
Sigint couldn't believe his luck."I'm so glad to see you.No don't get me wrong,I'm relieved I'm not the only human in this city.My name's Sigint.Yours?"

Daniel went to up to the door, forgeting his initial shock

he took the mans hand and shook it "the names Daniel, Major Daniel, nice to see another another human"

"Major? Hmm. Nice to meet you. So, do you know just what the hell happened here? I'm pretty sure that I'm not dreaming" Sigint asked still smiling.

daniel paused "i was briefed before i was droped, there was an 'incedent' with a virus, it spread like wild fire. i need to reach the airbase to file my report, do you know a way?"
Daniel clenched his fists

he had to get out of this town
Signit was his hope

"Airbase? I think it's south from here. It's pretty far away though. Mind if I stick with you?" Sigint said munching on a sandwich."This guy looks quite tough" he thought to himself.

Al calmly speed-walked down the street, when he saw a couple of people talking. He stopped, looked over, and continued walking down the street, deciding to ignore them. More people would only slow him down.

Daniel pulled up a chair

he leaned over and held his hand to his eyes

"sigh' no can do, the south exit is filled by a hoard of those beasts, unless we had spartens with machine guns, its a no go..." he paused and looked up" is there any thing north, a bank maybe? an airport?"

Daniel reached over and took a bag of chips

Al was passing close enough to the two to hear one of them mention the south exit being overrun. He stopped, and walked towards them.

"Excuse me, did you just say the south exit is full of zombies?" he asked.

"Uh, yea. And who might you be? Name's Sigint" Sigint said surprised.

Al glared at 'Signit' menacingly.

"Dammit! But was I talking to you? No. And the name's Al." he said, sighing, and walking off. He stopped, looked around, and headed back up north.

Daniel sat up and turned around, an older man had left


Daniel could feel that this man was frustrated but he looked like he could be of help

Daniel put on his camoflauge jacket and ran up to him and grabed his shoulder

"Hey, we could use your help" Daniel gestured to his badge"im a major, i could get you out of here"
