The wraith was disintegrated by their combines attacks, and a mere scorch mark on the ground was all that remained. However, a whole legion that counted around 50 came out of the same portal. "Hey! They're coming outta there!" Camille shouted.

"Really? I didn't notice!" Maya called back, pulling Annie away from the portal.

"Just shut up and fight them off so I can close this damn thing!" Camille growled, exerting her dimensional powers. The portal began to slowly close.

"Wretched demons! Take this!" Kalie shouted, putting her hands on the ground. Seconds later, a pillar of energy erupted from the ground and disintegrated a bunch of wraiths.

Annie grabbed ahold of some wraiths' minds and forced them to distingegrate. Bri trapped some with roots and vines. Jesse made some decay. Maya chose the good, ole-fashioned way, and just set some on fire.

The wraiths laughed when they were set on fire. "We live in Hell, you fool! We can't be hurt by fire!" They said. The ones in the vines just burned them away by spitting flames.

"Fire, huh?" Calvin said. States and Death combine to form Water! Conflict and Nature combine to form Fire! Mind and Dimension combine to form Air! Energy and Time combine to form Earth! Now, go!

Camille went over to Annie, and Kalie went over to Mina.

Bri grabbed Maya's hand. All of them concentrated, and the things they wanted appeared.

The remaining wraiths laughed, and fired off fire bolts at them.

Calvin put the heels of his palms together, and fire a barrage of energy missiles at the fire bolts, destroying them.

((That will later become Annie's signature move.))

"That was cool!" Annie cried, making the others laugh.

"Thank you." Calvin said with an English accent, twirling in midair and bowing to her.

"Let's do it!" Camille shouted. She formed Air with Annie, as Kalie formed Earth with Mina. Those two were fired at the wraiths.

Maya and Bri, along with Jesse and Val, did the same.

There was a dazzling explosion, and all the wraiths were gone. The portal was also closed.

"Well, that's done." Calvin said. Then he saw an odd looking flyer on the ground.

Annie picked it up. "What's this?"

"Hmm. A tournament ad." Calvin said. "A fighting tournament here in town."

Annie looked interested.
