Thread: A Summer in Hoenn

"Well, I used to live in the biggest city in the region, Castelia City," Kyle explained, "It had pretty much everything. Skyscrapers, about five different boat docks, luxury cruise ships..."

Genuinely envious at this point of someone able to remember their time in another region, Rin quickly stuffed her handkerchief back into her pocket to continue talking. "My parents have said that Kanto had some sights to see too. Probably not as good though. I know Kanto is home to the Pokemon Tower, where Pokemon are laid to rest. The S.S. Anne, a world-famous cruise ship. Some other things as well. But... now you have me curious about the Unova region." Rin replied.

"Well I think we've had enough of Oldale town. There's really nothing here. Maybe we should head to Littleroot. I heard there's a guy there who gives people Pokedex's for free. That could be useful," Eric said to Coco. He picked up his Seedot and headed down route 101 toward the even smaller town.

"Well, with any luck, maybe you could visit there someday," Kyle said, giving a slight smile. He looked toward the town's gate.

"I wonder if anyone else is on their way over here..."

"Finally," Kai said as the boat arrived at Littleroot's shore. It was a relatively small boat, so it didn't need a dock. "About time, too." he thought as he returned Delia to her Pokéball. He climbed over the handrails and jumped on the beach, then looked at Littleroot town, not too far away. He started walking toward it.

Damn it Kyle. I just KNOW you jinxed me.

"Hah. What are the odds of people coming to this backwater town? Surely getting a Pokedex can't be that eventful. Now sit down and stay a while Kai-ul. Nyah" she quipped, intentionally pronouncing his name strangely. She was getting bored now. Looking around for something to occupy herself with, her eyes were centered on Kyle. Perfect. "Say, would you mind doing me a favor?" she asked.

"A favor? Um, okay, what do you have in mind?" Kyle asked, oddly enjoying the presence of this interesting new person.

Kai kept walking toward Littleroot, lost in his thoughts. He got closer to the town and noticed how there was only a few buildings. "They call that a town?" he thought out loud, before he arrived at the outskirt of the town and noticed a wood sign that indicated "Pro Bich's Lab". Kai stared at it, confused.

Drew said to himself as he stood up. He looked around, and decided to release his Pokémon. He did as so, and the Sneasel stretched his arms as he jumped unto Drew's shoulder stealthily.

"The boat will arrive soon, I hope." Drew told his Sneasel, who nodded anxiously. Drew then walked towards the back of the boat, curious at who or what he might find there.

Luna decided to head back outside of her room. She opened the door and released Winter. Winter yawned as she sniffed around.

"Don't go too far, okay?" she spoke.

Once he got to the back end of the boat, Drew sat down on a nearby bench.

Hyper yawned, laying down besides Drew.

Luna glanced over and saw that boy from earlier. She gasped and blushed as she turned away.

Winter saw the Sneasel, and trotted over to him.

"Hi! You're cute!" Winter spoke suddenly.

"Alright" Jecca said, getting off the boat, "We are finally here!"

She picked up her Zigzagoon, and started to walk towards a sign that said the town was in a direction.

After walking a ways, she paused and set her Pokemon down.

She sighs, and goes "So Stripes, you like it here?"

Her Zigzagoon ran in a circle around her and shook his head.

Seeing that the boat arrived, Drew stood up an headed towards the ramp.

"Huh?" Hyper asked as he stood up.

Luna walked down the ramp and sighed as she got on land. She blushed when she saw the boy walking down the ramp.

Winter smiled.

"You're cute!" she spoke, "I'm Winter!"
