Thread: School Daze (Elysion and Midorikawa)

After a bit of exploring, Adrian was starting to feel a bit hungry, so he turned to Navi. "Wanna go grab a bite?" Adrian asked Navi.

"Sounds perfect," Navi replied with a bright smile. As they walked though he wonder if he should tell Adrian his secret.

Adrian smiled back brightly as well, and led Navi to a restaurant he usually ate at. They were led to a table by a friendly waitress, who gave them a menu to look at. Adrian looked through the menu, and couldn't help but smile to himself, enjoying the time he was spending with Navi.

The two gave the waitress their orders and talked while waiting. Navi picked at his food as he listened to Adrian talk.

(So J.R. Ward has these books called the Fallen Angel series that crossover with BDB and two of the main characters are these guys named Ed and Adrian. Ed is described like a Native American if I'm remembering correctly so I just thought how funny that is with our characters.)

Adrian enjoyed his food as he chatted with Navi.

(You're kidding me. XD What a coincidence. XD)

"Um... there's something I should tell you," Navi said nervously. He really liked Adrian and didn't want to scare him off later so he figured it would be best to tell him the truth now.

Adrian looked at Navi with a confused expression. He wondered why Navi seemed so nervous all of a sudden. "What's up?"

"I-I'm g-g-gay," Navi stuttered quietly.

"Huh?" Adrian said with a dumbfounded expression, not expecting Navi to suddenly say that. However, his expression soon softened, and he laughed, finding Navi all the more adorable. "Did you think I would judge you based on that?" Adrian said with a cheerful smile. "I honestly don't care; besides, I'm bisexual."

Navi breathed a sigh of relief smiling. "At my last school I had this really good friend but he freaked when he found out I'm gay. I'm glad that you're not like that."

"That's not good to hear," Adrian said, but he soon smiled again. "We're more accepting of things here, although there are a few of those who are more reserved."

"So I don't have to worry about being teased here?"

"People are pretty accepting here, although there are always those that are a bit rude," Adrian responded honestly. "You don't need to worry much though."

"I think I'll like it here," Navi said finishing his food

"Yeah, its pretty fun here," Adrian said, finishing up his food as well. He asked the waitress for the bill, and paid for his portion of the bill. He wanted to pay for Navi's as well, but thought it might have been a bit strange, especially since they just started getting to know each other better.
