"What can I say?" Eliot says, leaning on his guitar. "I am a very resilient man. So, what is a lovely lady like yourself doing in a place like this?"

"Whenever I don't have to fight against weird people," Caballero responded as shadows appeared from behing Mist and lashed at her body.

The Black Mist slipped through the shadow easily.
You didn't research my power, did you?
She drew her katana, and pointed it at her foe, before leaping at him.

"Please don't tell me it's what I think it is," Caballero deadpanned.

Half-beat turned to mega neko. "I was, trying to earn some money.. Was hoping that no one would get hurt.." She explained.

Yes! It is!
I have a natural affinity for the katana-
The Mist vanished, and reappeared in Caballero's shadow.
And I can leap through shadows...
She laughed, and drew her blade across his throat.

"Why not just get a job somewhere?" Eliot asked. He ignored the fight between Mist and Noir. "I have one. Now, granted, my boss forces me to-" He turned to Mist and Cabalerro. "Mind keeping it down?" He asks, in as kind a tone as he can muster.

Half-beat nodded her head slowly. "Yeah, but it's kinda hard to get a job when you're like me." She explained.

"Now you're just a copy cat," Caballero swung his left arm forward and created a sword of shadows that he used to block Mist's Katana. "They don't call me Caballero for nothing," he smirked.

Shrink shot at Mist, then dragged himself away.

"Is it the hair? I have blue hair, and I have a job." Eliot asks, leaning against the wall.

Half-beat leaned against the wall too. "Nah, i could go rocker. What i mean is, i control time. I, you know i'm kinda known as a villain.." She explained.

"Oh, right forgot." Eliot said. Then he thought. "But the point is, you dislike your job, no?"

"Well yeah, not paid enough and people die. What not to hate about it?" Half-Beat said sadly.
