Thread: ROGUES GALLERY: Bloodstained Path

OOC: Yeah, I'm up for this. Sorry for just now posting, I was gone most of this weekend.

Will walked through the streets of New York, a city he had never explored before, looking for an apparently important building called the Empire State, which he had never heard of before, to find a superhero by the name of Hourglass, whom Will had never seen before. To say that he was lost would be a huge understatement.

"Where do I go now?" Will asked himself. Looking up for a moment, Will saw a rather tall building, which looked extremely similar to the one that Will had seen on a post card. He pulled his goggles onto his head, and, using the binocular features, Will spotted a man dressed in apparel that he would normally see on a superhero. Next to him was a bird, which Will found rather strange. He simply shook his head, assuming that it wasn't a thing that he would be able to comprehend.

Seeing a door at the base of the building, Will entered in through it. He easily could have flown up to the top, but, in case he was wrong, Will would be in big trouble if he gave away his powers. He then entered the elevators and was on his way up to the meeting point.

Hourglass started turning the hourglass in his hand again, once more moving incredibly slowly.

The plane arrived in Syria, and Clyde went through security without a hitch. He had mailed his sword to a post office box in Syria.
"Time Breaker, come. I need to get my sword." He said, heading for the post office.

Animalia frowned. Was this guy legit? And it was a little creepy how he seemed to move slower whenever he moved that hourglass.
And he knew where to find her. She'd taken extra-special precautions so that nobody would know her human identity.
But if he lived in the future, did that mean that she would be exposed?
The hawk shuddered, waiting for whoever this Steampunk guy was.

Hourglass continued spinning the hourglass.

Once he had gotten to the top floor via the elevator, Will stepped out onto the roof of the building. Even then, he was still underneath the man and his bird. Looking cautiously around before doing so, Will's legs switched into jet turbines. He knew he was taking a risk, especially since he didn't know if that was truly his ally. None the less, he flew up to the man.

When Will got closer, he noticed that the man was moving as if he was in slow motion. Thinking back to the letter he had received, Will remembered that the man requesting his 'services' was named Hourglass.

"That's gotta be him," Will thought to himself as he flew up to the man and the bird. Once he had arrived by the man and the bird, he transformed his legs back into those of a human. He dropped from the sky onto the ground from about 40 feet into the air. When he reached the ground, he absorbed all of his kinetic energy, so there was barely even an aftermath of his descent.

"I'm Steampunk," he said without emotion. "And you must be Hourglass, am I correct?"

Animalia blinked in surprise. Half-human, half-robot? Did not see that coming.
No mistaking it, this guy had to be Steampunk.
She cleared her throat. "Um, hello. I'm Animalia."

"So what's the plan kid?" Time Breaker asked and followed behind OP, he was playing around with his cards before throwing one at a passerby, causing the card to turn into a large monster inside of the man's mind. The man screamed in horror and began running around; even knocking down a couple of guards. "Hahaha he fell," Time Breaker laughed.

Will did a double take once he saw the bird speaking.

"So I take it your power is to turn into animals?" Will asked. Perhaps he would have known if he had known modern society for more than a few days, since Will had no idea of Animalia's popularity. But for now, since she was still in her animal state, Will assumed that she was attempting to hide her physical self, so she couldn't have been too well known.

"Yeah." Animalia nodded. "I'm a hawk right now, but I can change into whatever I want," she added, feeling a little bit of pride. "How about you? I just saw those legs of yours turn into jet turbines..."

"Alright, happy meeting each other, etcetera, to business!" Hourglass stood up, and frothed his hands. "A villain, OP, has-will go to Syria today to eat an apple.

This apple gives him a sword, which is able to cut through metal like warm butter. Honestly, whether we win or not only makes a small branch in time. However, I prefer we win. For the sake of my ego, and crimes he cannot commit.
He has a friend on the trip called Time-Beaker- Let me tell you, there will be this time he loses against the- never mind that.
Anyway, assuming the sword is not strap on, we have a secret weapon." Hourglass held up a thick, black, pen looking thing, with four small metal cylinders at the top spreading outwards.
"So, first things first. I need the longitude and latitude lines for the city we need to get to. We can get there yesterday."

Animalia blinked at Hourglass's description of the mission.
"This is crazy," she mumbled under her breath so that hopefully nobody would hear.

Using the computational parts of his brain, Steampunk quickly found the location of Syria.

"35 Latitude, 38 Longitude," Steampunk replied in a monotonous voice, as if he was repeating a computer's recording.

OOC: Syria is actually a country. Clyde's in Damascus, which is in Syria, and the oldest continually habited city on earth. Might wanna hurry, by the way.

Clyde drew his sword from the post office box. It was very pretty in the sun. He swung the claymore in the air, nearly decapitating a mailman. He apologized, and left for the nearest cemetery.

OOC- Why hurry? We'll be there yesterday.

"Excellent, Steamie. Now, if you don't mind, grid up the map of Syria and tell me Damasacus' location." After receiving the answer, Hourglass started turning knobs on the watch, and the trio disapeared.

They reapeared in Damasacus, the day OP and Time Breaker arrived. "Time Travel. Simple. Ah... this isn't yesterday. The watch is out of energy... we need to find those villains, tail them, and confiscate that sword."
