Calvin nodded grimly. "Thanks for the heads up. Can I wake up now?"

He nodded, and the dream vanished.

Once Calvin woke up, he took a brief second to remember the enlightening dream, then started raising people. The first thing he did was send a quick message to Brianne: Emergency. Take Maya to the meadow, don't let anyone but Cam leave. Don't ask, just do. -Cal Then, he woke Maya up by picking her up and setting her on her feet. Alright, I know you're not fully awake yet, but you need to listen carefully. They are coming for you. You need to go with Bri to the meadow, and stay there until I call for you. Then he took her downstairs while mentally raising Camille, careful to hide it from Annie. Then he rounded up Victoria, Terry, and Kalie, so they could defend against incoming raid. Camille arrived shortly after, having told the kids that two other were coming in her place.

((Um, Maya's right beside him. And asleep. Think he might wanna inform her of this?))

((Oh. Completely forgot where she was.))

Numbly, Maya and Bri did as they were told.

Everyone else was waiting tensely for the impending attack, Pokemon and all. All of their strongest were with them, and Victoria had pulled a shotgun out of a closet and was loading it.

"So how'd you find this out?" Kalie asked.

"A very strong premonition." Calvin replied, unable to bring himself to tell them that Gabriel had come to him in his dreams. Besides, there was no reason to tell anyone that, except maybe Maya. Then a thought came to him: How had the Whitecoats found out about their raid, and how did they know where they were? Their nanomachines had been shut down more than a year ago, so that was out of the question. He shoved that aside as another thought came to him. "Hey, did Mina go with the others?"

"I'm here," She replied, entering the room with her pistol in hand.

((I imagine that they two of them would have become pretty-good friends by now))

"Where did- Never mind." Calvin muttered, coughing. "You know they're gonna mistake you for her, right? Pretty big risk you're taking."

"As she likes to say, 'Who Dares, Wins.'" Camille said, nodding to her.

Dragonite gave her the same look she gave Maya when Maya was walking into an endangering situation.

"She's basically my clone, anyway. I don't care. Better me than her."

"I'd rather it be neither of you." Calvin said solemnly.

"Yeah, you're almost literally a sister to us." Camille added, seemingly hurt by the prospect of what could happen.

"Cal, Maya has you and Annie. All I have is her and our mom. And I wanna fight."

"Then fight you shall, Xena." Calvin said, chuckling a little at the use of her pet name.

"Careful. She didn't say with whom." Camille laughed.

Mina laughed.

Camille stepped outside to see if they were coming yet.
