"No, just a nice, quiet lunch." Camille replied coldly.
"Is it ever quiet here?"
Annie's eyes were slightly distant, and had less warmth in them that usual, a sure sign she was reading someone's mind and was confused or upset by what she heard.
Annie looked sadly up at him. Auntie just thought that she really wishes we weren't here.
Annie didn't reply, but she still looked upset.
