"'Bad things'?" Calvin asked, chuckling.

"Hey, where'd everybody go?" Camille asked, noticing they were alone in the room.

"Mmm-hmm." Annie nodded, "Somethin' 'bout you and Mama and Auntie-Mina."

Maya gagged, looking livid.

"That... never mind." Calvin said, grimacing. "Moving... right along... Hey look, we're here."

"...How did we get down here in the first place...?" Camille wondered aloud. "We somehow woke up here, and I remember us being upstairs."

"Yay!" Annie clapped her hands excitedly.

Brianne shrugged.

"Since you seem ready, let's begin, shall we?" Calvin said. "If everyone concurs, of course?"

"Whatever... Hey, we're alone!" Camille said, looking around. "Oh right, they took Terry upstairs."

"Mmkay!" Annie replied, "What first, Mama?"

"Flap." Maya replied casually.

So Annie unfolded her wings and flapped. Trouble was, she was flapping her wings back-and-forth, not up-and-down. And she promptly fell on her butt.

Maya had to cover her mouth to hide her smile, as did Mina.

"Not that way, Annie," Maya said pateintly, "Up and down, or you won't get anywhere but on your butt again." She demonstrated the proper way to flap, and raised into the air a-ways.

"'Kay." Annie copied her, and rose up about two feet off the ground.

Calvin was standing behind her, poised to catch her if need be.

"Are you hungry?" Camille asked. "I can cook something for you."

"Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Annie squealed, flapping around in a circle.......right before she crashed into Chistery and fell on Calvin.

"Watch where you fly! We got a learning pilot, one, and two, my daughter!" Calvin roared, getting up and helping Annie up. "And you can try to roast me if you wanna. I can take a playful one, so I can take a real one. Go ahead. Make my day."

"Are you hungry?" Camille asked. "I can cook something for you."

Chistery trembled. "I saw just tryin' to show her." He whimpered.

Annie clung to Calvin, reaching-up to pat his face, showing him that Chistery didn't mean to bump-into her, that no harm was meant. "It's okay, Daddy." She cooed, trying to soothe him.

Bri shook her head.

"That's her mother's job to show her." Calvin said, not relenting to him. Then he turned to Annie and smiled. "Okay. Whenever you're ready, try again. And THIS TIME, there won't be anyone in your way."

Annie smiled at him, before somehow launching herself out of his arms and starting to flap again. She flew all the way from Calvin, to Maya, and back, before landing. Her tummy growled loudly.

Calvin kicked a nearby tree, and an apple clocked him on the head.

"Well either way..." Camille trailed off, giving Brianne a certain expression. "I'm hungry."

Annie giggled, picking-up the apple and eating it.

"Flying takes a lot of energy," Maya said, "Maybe you should take a break."

Annie nodded, reaching-up for Calvin to pick her up again.

Calvin sighed, and put Annie on his shoulders. "Least Mina never laughs at my misfortune."

"Well either way..." Camille trailed off, giving Brianne a certain expression. "I'm hungry."
