Thread: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Worlds Collide (Skyla and Gymleader Misty)

The Zapdos sped through the beam before holding its head forward. It clouded itself with electricity and flew towards Abby.

Abby growled as she launched another Double Edge.

The Zapdos was hit by the attack and was sent crashing against a colum of rocks not too far away. Jake still stood in shock as he saw Abby. "That was amazing."

"Hmph!" Abby hissed as she looked at Jake. She then slightly smiled. "Thank you."

"And you look really stunning too." Jake smiled back at her before walking over. "Though now you're taller than me."

"Yeah, so you'll need to become Infernape," Abby giggled slightly.

"If only it were that easy." Jake chuckled before kissing her cheek.

"You can at least ride on my back and hold the egg," Abby suggested, "My tail is too small to wrap around the egg. If only it would hatch then the baby could simply ride on my back."

Jake nodded his head and smiled before he got on top of Abby. "Can you handle the weight?"

"Yes," Abby nodded, "Not a problem."

"Good." Jake smiled and got on her.

"Wait...we should check on that Zapdos." Kalvin interrupted.

"I don't want him hurting the baby," Abby frowned.

"Don't worry I've got him." Jake nodded his head as he held on to the egg.

The Zapdos slowly stood up, its body looking wounded and tired as it turned to look at the group. "What happened?"

"You attacked us suddenly." Kalvin stated simply. "Are you okay?"

"I think I am..." the Zapdos stated and shook his head slightly to recover his sight. "Though I can't remember much of what happened."

"How do you know the egg is a he?" Abby asked, "It could be a girl." she then saw the Zapdos awaken. She began growling as she backed up slightly.

"It's okay, he's not hostile." Kalvin shook his head. "He didn't seem to be on his senses though."

"I'm sorry about before, I don't know what came over me." the Zapdos bowed in apology.
