Thread: Pokémon: Spectrum Version (*Me and Ningyo-chan!*)

The Patrat huffed at Abby and charged at Zhu Bajie, who headbutted back a Tackle when the Normal-type tried a Tackle of it's own, knocking it back.

"Now, it's capture time!" Animus yelled, throwing a PokéBall at the Pokemon.

One shake. Two shake. Three shake. Click.

"Victorious." The male of the group said, smiling as he picked up the PokéBall.

"I'm going to name you Rocket Dog." Animus said, smiling as he took out his Dex and saw the entry for Patrat was filling itself out.

"Rocket dog?" Abby answered as she raised an eyebrow.

"A name I heard on TV once." Animus said, turning to Abby.

((*A meerkat in "Meerkat Kingdom" on Animal Planet))

"Ah, I see," Abby simply nodded before continuing to walk forward.

A Patrat came out and stepped in front of Abby, standing in place and giving her a look that said "I'm not letting you through."

Abby sighed as she tried stepping over the Patrat. She would rather not fight if she didn't have to.

Only for the Patrat to move back in front. "You. Human. We fight like men." The Patrat spoke, although it is female in voice pitch.

"And you're a bitch," Abby commented, knowing she was female.

This got the Patrat to try and Tackle Abby. However, Dublin jumped up and Tackled her back before his Trainer would be harmed.

"Back off, you weasel!" He growled out, taking a protective stance in front of Abby.

"Oh, so you have a guard dog. Very well. Let's fight." The Patrat said, Dublin all too happy to oblige.

"Dublin..." Abby trailed off nervously before looking at Animus, "Should I let him battle?"

"Looks like you won't have a choice." Animus said, and with a bark, Dublin charged with a Tackle, and the Patrat jumped over him.

"Dublin!" Abby gasped as she saw the Lillipup attack the Patrat.

Dublin was Tackled from behind, getting the Puppy to yelp in pain. "Is that all you have, you stupid Lillipup?" The Patrat asked, walking to Dublin. "My name... is Dublin!" Suddenly, the Puppy jumped and landed a Bite attack on Patrat's left arm, getting it to try and remove the mad Normal-type from her arm.

"A-are you okay, Dublin?" Abby asked, tears forming in her eyes.

"Nothing a Potion can't fix!" Dublin yelled with confidence, letting go and Tackling Patrat, KOing it.
